District of Ohio announces the arrest of Antonio Collins of
Charleston, WV. Collins was arrested late Saturday by the
Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team on two counts of
Attempted Murder.

2013 - Patrick Sedoti, U.S. Marshal for the
Southern District of Ohio, announced today that Jimmie Allen Jr.
and Leroy Keith have been arrested by the Southern Ohio Fugitive
Apprehension Strike Team in Dayton, OH. Allen was wanted by the
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office for Rape of a Child under 13
and Gross Sexual Imposition of a Minor. Keith was wanted by the
Dayton Police Department for Rape of a Child under 13.

- The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST)
and Acting U.S. Marshal, Patrick Sedoti, announced today that
homicide suspect Jeffery Jackson has been arrested. SOFAST
arrested Jackson earlier this morning in a parking lot in
Dayton.

November 19,
2012 - The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike
Team (SOFAST) and Acting United States Marshal Patrick Sedoti
announced today that homicide suspect Michael Harwell was
arrested. SOFAST in conjunction with the Dayton Police
Department arrested Harwell this morning off of Taylorsville
Road in Huber Heights.

23, 2012 - The United States Marshals Service is
asking for the public’s assistance in locating one of the Texas
10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders who may be in the Springfield, Ohio
area. Jimmy Ray McMillan is a convicted sex offender who is
wanted by the Texas Department of Public Safety for Failure to
Register as a sex offender.

October 10,
2012 - The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike
Team (SOFAST) and Acting U.S. Marshal Patrick Sedoti announced
today that Larry Hyche was arrested in Springfield, Ohio. In
response to an investigation by the Clark County Sheriff’s
Office, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Larry Hyche in
late June of 2012. Hyche was convicted of raping two girls under
the age of 13 and was wanted for failure to register as a sex
offender.

August 17, 2012
- The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST)
announced today that after an intense investigation, Timothy
Slusher was arrested this morning in Dayton, Ohio. On August 16,
2012, the Dayton SOFAST team was notified by Detectives from the
Dayton Police Department that a warrant had been issued for the
arrest of Timothy Slusher for the knifepoint rape of a child
under the age of 13.

- U.S. Marshal Patrick Sedoti announced today that the
Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) has
joined the search for Shawn Dwayne Wood. Wood is wanted in
Montgomery County, Ohio, for sex offender registration
violations. Wood is a convicted sex offender with prior arrests
for kidnapping, weapons offenses, assaults, trafficking in
drugs, sex offender registration violations and rape.

The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST)
and Acting U.S. Marshal Patrick Sedoti for the Southern District of
Ohio announced today that Robert Philbeck was arrested this morning
in a wooded area near Smithville Road and Burkhardt Road in Dayton
Ohio. Philbeck was convicted of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor
and 4 times has been convicted of sex offender registration
violations.

today that Jeffrey Spicer was arrested this morning in New Weston, OH. Spicer
was wanted for 2 Counts of Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault of a
minor and 2 additional counts of Attempted Aggravated Sexual Assault
of a minor between the ages of 13 and 16.

2012 - Patrick Sedoti, U.S. Marshal for the
Southern District of Ohio, announced today that Kevin Collins
has been arrested. Kevin Collins was arrested by the Southern
Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) in Columbus, OH.
Collins was wanted by the Dayton Police Department for Gross
Sexual Imposition of a Child Under 13 Years of Age and 6 counts
of Sexual Battery.

Southern District of Ohio, announced today that Devon Armond
Gayles has been arrested. On February 8, 2012, Devon Gayles was
arrested by the U.S. Marshals Southern Ohio Fugitive
Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) in conjunction with Detectives
from the Asheville North Carolina Police Department in Forest
Park, OH.

2012 - U.S. Marshal Cathy Jones
announces the arrest by the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST)
of Robert Scott Carver. Carver has been wanted by the Aiken County Sheriff’s
Office in South Carolina since November of 2006 for Kidnapping,
Criminal Sexual Conduct with Spouse 1st degree, two counts of
Unlawful Conduct towards a Child, and Malicious Injury to
personal property.

District of Ohio, announced today that Devant Terrell Geter has
been arrested by the U.S. Marshals led Southern Ohio Fugitive
Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST). Geter was wanted for Escape
on an arrest warrant from September 13, 2008. Geter was serving
a 14 year sentence for Possession with Intent to Distribute in
Excess of 500 mg of Cocaine and Possession of a Firearm by a
Convicted Felon when he escaped from the federal penitentiary in
Marion, IL.

announces the arrests of Marty Roe and Tyree Parson. Roe was wanted by the
Lexington Police Department for Harassing Communications. Parson was wanted by
the Dayton Police Department for Murder and has pending Felonious Assault and
Weapons Charges.

Southern Ohio United States Marshals Service Sex Offender
Investigations Bureau is requesting assistance with the
following investigation.
Joseph Michael Hall is a convicted sex offender wanted by the U.S. Marshals
Service for Failure to Register as a sex offender. He is also wanted by the
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office for failing to register and was most recently
indicted by the Montgomery County Ohio Grand Jury for Rape of a child under the
age of 13.

was wanted by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department for

- On May 7, 2011, leads came in from Orlando, Florida to the
United States Marshals in Southern Ohio concerning the possible
whereabouts of a wanted non-compliant sex offender. The sex
offender, Jaime Lebel (aka Jamie Lebel), age 41, a sex offender
who in 2001, pled guilty to two counts of Lewd or Lascivious
Molestation of a minor and served six years in prison and
additional time in jail for probation violation, had fled
Florida in violation of his registration requirements and was
believed to be hiding out in Southern Ohio.

- United States Marshal Cathy J. Jones announces the arrest of
Thomas Grantham and James Cross Jr. by the Southern Ohio
Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST). Grantham, 35 years
of age, and Cross Jr., 32 years of age, are wanted for Murder
and Attempted Murder based on charges in West Virginia.

- U.S. Marshal Cathy Jones announces the arrest of David Conrad
Buelow , a sex offender from Dayton, Ohio who was wanted on
outstanding warrants for federal violations of the Adam Walsh
Act. Buelow, age 62, was being sought on a warrant issued by the
Federal Court in San Diego for a violation of the Adam Walsh Act
after he fled Dayton, Ohio area in violation of his state sex
offender registration requirements.

- U.S. Marshal Cathy Jones of the Southern District of Ohio
announces the arrest of Ryan Hubbard, 32, of Miramar, Florida.
Hubbard was wanted by the Bal Harbour, Florida Police Department
for his alleged involvement in the attempted murder of two
patrons of Carpaccio’s Restaurant that occurred in the affluent
community of Bal Harbour, Florida on March 22, 2011.

- U.S. Marshal Cathy Jones and Montgomery County Sheriff Phil
Plummer announce the arrest of Kenneth Wade Rachal, a sex
offender wanted on outstanding warrants for federal violations
of the Adam Walsh Act. Rachal was arrested in Cancun Mexico
after getting off a plane flight from France by Mexican Federal
Police and U.S. Marshals assigned to the Mexico field office.

- U.S. Marshal Cathy Jones of the Southern District of Ohio
and Chief John Sedlak of the Miamisburg Police Department announce the arrest of
Ronald Preston of Ontario County, New York. Preston was wanted by the
Ontario County Sheriff’s Office for his alleged involvement in the rape of a
former neighbor that occurred in Canandaigua, New York on February 23, 2011.

2011 - Cathy Jones, United States Marshal for the
Southern District of Ohio, today announced the arrest of Michael
Y. Miller by the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team
(SOFAST) in Columbus, Ohio. Miller is charged with murder in
Columbus, Georgia. The charges stem from the April 12, 1999
murder of Shawnita Campbell whose body was found with a gunshot
wound to the head on a dirt road in Columbus, Georgia.

2011 - United States Marshal Cathy J. Jones announces
the 100th homicide arrest since the inception of the Southern
Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) in May of 2006.
SOFAST arrested 33 year-old Anton Denson of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Denson is accused in the shooting death of Devon Heard during a
home invasion robbery on December 14 of 2010.

2011 - United States Marshal Cathy J. Jones announces
the arrest of Michael Hesson. In the evening hours of February
08, 2011, the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST)
arrested 25 year-old Michael Hesson in Hamilton, Ohio. Hesson
is accused of stomping the head of John Johnson, an elderly
homeless man, in early January of 2010. Hesson has been evading
authorities ever since the assault.

2011 - Cathy J. Jones, U. S. Marshal for the Southern
District of Ohio, announced today that John Fitzgerald Cannada
has been arrested in Lexington, KY. The Hamilton County
Sheriff’s Office issued an arrest warrant for Cannada, charging
him with Failure to Register as a Sex Offender on 03/15/2007,
stemming from a 1997 conviction for Gross Sexual Imposition of a
Minor.

January 25, 2011 - Cathy
Jones, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announced
today information about the success of the Southern Ohio Fugitive
Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) in making the streets of southern Ohio
safer for everyone. From January 3rd through January 21st of this year, the
SOFAST units in all three core cities have arrested a multitude of violent
offenders who have been preying on the public.

December 03, 2010 - United States
Marshal Cathy J. Jones announces the arrest of Russell Patrick. In the late hours of
December 2, 2010, the Southern Ohio Fugitive
Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) arrested 35 year-old Russell Patrick in
Wilmington, Ohio. Patrick is accused of injuring a child.
Patrick is also
the subject of a child sex crime investigation by the Grand Prairie (TX)
Police Department. Deputy U.S. Marshal Donnie W. Ray stated, “Protecting
the children of our community is a top priority for the U.S. Marshals. This
arrest highlights the difference we can make when local and federal
authorities work together on a common goal”.

2010 - United States Marshal Cathy J. Jones and the
Cincinnati Police Department announce the arrest of Tony Halston.
The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST)
arrested 28 year-old Tony Halston in Cincinnati, Ohio. Halston
is accused of shooting Marathon Station store clerk in Price
Hill on November 12, 2010.

2010 - On 11/04/2010, Jeffrey Portis, eluded arrest by assaulting two Springfield
Township Police officers with a Taser. One week earlier, Portis led the
Cincinnati Police Department on a wild chase in the West End neighborhood,
which resulted in him being bit by a police K-9. Portis, who was originally
wanted for Contempt of Court and Failure to Comply, faces
charges for Assaulting a Police Officer, Burglary, Resisting
Arrest, and Obstruction of Justice after his latest run-ins with
the law.

2010 - Cathy Jones, U.S. Marshal for the Southern
District of Ohio, today announced the arrests of David Parker
and James Spillman, both unregistered sexual offenders. Parker
was arrested on October 1, 2010, by the Southern Ohio Fugitive
Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) in Columbus, Ohio. James
Spillman, who had been wanted by the Franklin County Sheriff’s
Office since 2002, was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Greenup,
Kentucky on the evening of October 4, 2010.

2010 - Cathy Jones, U.S. Marshal for the Southern
District of Ohio, today announced the arrest of John Whiting in
Newark, OH by the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike
Team (SOFAST) and the Newark Police Department. Whiting had been
wanted by the Maricopa County, Arizona Sheriff’s Office for a
Probation Violation. Whiting was on probation for a Manslaughter
conviction and had been a fugitive since 1980.

- U.S. Marshal Cathy Jones of the Southern District of Ohio
announces the arrest of Jonothan Mapp, Jr. Mapp is charged with
multiple counts of rape in Hamilton County, Ohio. He was
indicted for allegedly raping a 5-year-old child over a six-year
period between 2001 and 2007. Authorities say Mapp is facing up
to life in prison if convicted of these charges.

- A 17 year old homicide suspect was arrested by the
Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST). The
teenage suspect was wanted for the fatal shooting of 22 year old
Derrick Martin on June 17, 2010. The victim was shot to death on
Goose Alley in Cincinnati’s Over-The-Rhine neighborhood.

- Cathy J. Jones, Acting United States Marshal for the
Southern District of Ohio announces the arrest of Joseph T.
Cagle, a convicted sex offender, who fled New York and was found
living in Dayton, Ohio. Cagle’s previous convictions include
Sexual Misconduct in 2003 and Attempted Rape in 2006,
convictions which required him to register as a sexual offender
for the remainder of his life.

- A 17 year old homicide suspect was arrested by the
Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST). The
teenage suspect was wanted for the fatal stabbing of 26 year old
Gavin Mays on May 27, 2010.

May 07, 2010 - Cathy J. Jones, Acting United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio and Dayton Chief of Police Richard Biehl, announce the arrest of Anthony D. Choice after more than a ten month long man hunt. Choice is charged with three counts of murder, two counts of aggravated robbery, two counts of aggravated burglary, and two counts of felonious assault because of his suspected involvement in a June 24, 2009 home invasion that left one man dead.
- April 30, 2010 - The United
States Marshals Service in the Southern District of Ohio, Butler County
Sheriff’s Office, Ohio Adult Parole Authority, Butler County Adult
Probation, Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCI), and SOFAST (Southern Ohio
Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team) conducted a joint law enforcement effort
to verify the residency of local sex offenders in Butler County. During
April 26-30, 2010, Deputy Sheriffs, Deputy U.S. Marshals, Adult Parole
Officers, Adult Probation Officers, and BCI Agents teamed up in the fifth of
a continuing Federal Operation known as Operation Neighborhood Watch.

April 15, 2010 - In the early evening hours of 04/14/2010, Waco “White Wolf” Tohausen, 37 years old, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department in Murphy, NC.
Tohausen, indicted for Rape and Pandering Sexually Oriented Materials involving a five year old victim. The crimes, which were committed back in 2007, where recently indicted back on December 21, 2009.
Tohausen is associated with a Wiccan Group known as the Temple of the Crystalline Star and the Lustration of the Ancestors.

March 19, 2010 - Cathy J. Jones, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, Springfield Police Chief Steve Moody, and Montgomery County Sheriff Phil Plummer announce the arrest of Derrick Lamont Caldwell after a two day man hunt covering both Clark and Montgomery Counties. Caldwell, a registered sex offender in Montgomery County, was wanted in Springfield for 2 counts of robbery and is also a suspect for an alleged abduction and assault that occurred in Springfield last week.

March 19, 2010 - The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) arrested 30 year-old Kenneth Kendrick at an associate’s residence located on Bahama Terrace in Cincinnati, Ohio. Kendrick is accused of an execution style shooting and killing of Anthony Collins in Detroit, Michigan on November 28, 2009. Kendrick is a four time habitual offender with a lengthy criminal record that includes multiple convictions for various crimes including felony weapon violations.

March 15, 2010 - Following
a tradition of excellence in its fugitive efforts, the U.S. Marshals
Service’s Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) is
partnering locally with the Hocking County Sheriff’s Office and the
Fairfield-Hocking Major Crimes Unit today to target the area’s most
violent criminals. Multiple arrest teams working throughout the region
will be seeking those with warrants for theft offenses such as Burglary
and Narcotics offenses, among others.

Cathy Jones, Acting United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio,
and Walter L. Davis III, Delaware County Sheriff announces the arrest of William W. HATCHER by the Southern Ohio Fugitive
Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST). HATCHER had been wanted by the Delaware
County, Ohio Sheriff’s office for two counts of Rape and Sexual Battery
based on charges that he gave a juvenile female alcohol and then raped
her. The victim reportedly knew HATCHER prior to the rape which allegedly
occurred on December 17, 2009.

March 01, 2010 - The U.S. Marshals of the Southern District of Ohio and its state and local
law enforcement partners concluded Operation Neighborhood Watch-Eastern
Borders in Lawrence County. Authorities are calling it
success. “It’s a major victory any time we arrest an individual who poses a threat
to our communities, especially to innocent children,” said Interim United
States Marshal Cathy Jones. “Operation Neighborhood Watch was executed to
send a message to sex offenders who aren’t in compliance with the
law—register or go to jail.”
- February 28, 2010 - Keenan Childs, 37
years old, was arrested by the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike
Team (SOFAST). Childs was wanted for the shooting of off- duty Cincinnati Police officer Thomas Owens.
- February 12, 2010 - The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) arrested 32 year old Calvin “C-Murder” McKelton in the Avondale neighborhood of Cincinnati. McKelton is accused of killing Margaret “Missy” Allen of Fairfield in July of 2008. Margaret, who was pregnant at the time of her murder was described as an up and coming attorney in the Greater Cincinnati area, was also the live-in girlfriend of McKelton.

February 11, 2010 - The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) arrested 26 year-old Walter “Shay” Johnson at an associate’s residence located on Manss Avenue in Cincinnati, Ohio. Johnson is accused of shooting and killing Larry Anderson, 27 years-old, in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 7, 2009.

February 10, 2010 - Cathy J. Jones, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announced today that Craig Jewett and Kelly Miller have been arrested. Jewett and Miller were wanted by the City of Columbus Division of Police for aggravated murder. The murder charges stem from an April 20, 2002 fire in Columbus, Ohio that resulted in the death of John Miller.

January 29, 2010 - The United States Marshals Service in the Southern District of Ohio, the State of Ohio Adult Parole Authority, the State of Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCI) and the men and women of the Gallia County and Meigs County Sheriff’s Offices conducted a joint law enforcement effort to verify the residency of local sex offenders in their counties. During January 25-28, 2010, Deputy Sheriffs, Deputy U.S. Marshals, Adult Parole Officers and BCI Agents teamed up in the third of a continuing Federal Operation known as Operation Neighborhood Watch Eastern Borders.

The juvenile suspect is charged with two counts of Aggravated Robbery, one count of Kidnapping, four counts of Aggravated Burglary, one count of Receiving Stolen Firearm, one count of Felonious Assault, and one count of Grand Theft Auto.

January 08, 2010 - Federal Parole Violator, Kurtis
Armann, was apprehended by the Great Lakes Regional Task Force
based on an investigation by the U.S. Marshals Service in
Columbus, Ohio. After serving his prison sentence for
Conspiracy to Commit Attempted Murder, Armann absconded from
probation supervision in May 2009.

Tabor was wanted on attempted homicide charges in Springfield, Ohio; multiple charges in West Virginia, which include three counts of conspiracy to distribute dangerous drugs; and multiple charges in Montgomery County to include carrying a concealed weapon.

Yancey, who has an extensive criminal history to include assault, domestic violence, arson, robbery, and drugs is also a convicted sex offender after he was convicted of Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor.

suspects, 15 years of age and 17 years of age were arrested yesterday by
the U.S. Marshals led Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST).
Both juvenile suspects are charged with the October 24th Aggravated Robbery
and Murder of Herschell Palomore Jr. in Cincinnati.

October 19, 2009 - Cathy J. Jones, U.S. Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announced that Marco Medina has been arrested. In August of 2004, United States District Court Judge Edmund A. Sargus Jr. issued a warrant for Medina’s arrest. The warrant charged Medina with Conspiracy and Possession with Intent to Distribute over one hundred kilograms of marijuana.

October 07, 2009 - Two murder suspects and an armed kidnapper
are apprehended within hours of each other in Cincinnati, Ohio. Antonio Portis, 19 years of age, Demar Edmonds, 22
years of age, and Jerome Taylor, 43 years of age, were arrested
yesterday by the U.S. Marshals led Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension
Strike Team (SOFAST).

October 01, 2009 - A jury in U.S. District Court here today convicted Michael Harper, 54, of Cincinnati of one count of failure to register as a sex offender, as required by the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA).

2009 - The U.S. Marshals Service
in the Southern District of Ohio, the State of Ohio Adult Parole Authority,
and the men and women of the Belmont County and Jefferson County Sheriff’s
Offices conducted a joint law enforcement effort to keep tabs on local sex
offenders in their counties. On September 14-18, 2009, Deputy Sheriffs,
Deputy U.S. Marshals, and Adult Parole Officers teamed up to verify the
residences of registered sex offenders. This initiative is a collaborative
law enforcement effort that is designed to keep the public safe by ensuring
that these offenders are complying with sex offender registration
obligations and residing where they have reported.

September 02, 2009 -
Lawrence F. Sipple, 38, of Cincinnati was sentenced to 27
months imprisonment for failing to register as a sex offender, as
required by the federal Sex Offender Registration Notification Act (SORNA).
Sipple was also placed under court supervision for the rest of his life.

August 25,
2009 - James M. Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern
District of Ohio, announces the arrest of Dalcapone Alpaccino Morris. Morris
was wanted by the Dayton Police Department for Murder, Kidnapping,
Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Burglary and Aggravated Assault.
- July 31, 2009 - James Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announced today that Bobbie Lee Garrett has been arrested. On February 2, 2009 a warrant was issued for Garrett following the return of a 15 count indictment for Child Abuse-Sexual Abuse of a Minor.
- July 29, 2009 - James Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announced today that Aaron Gilbert has been arrested. On July 10, 2009 a warrant was issued for Gilbert by the Franklin County Common Pleas Court for Possession of Drugs.
- July 23, 2009 - Tyjuan Pearson, 24 years of age, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals led Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) and the Springfield Township Police Department. Pearson, who was considered armed and dangerous, was wanted in Kentucky by the Lexington Police Department for 1st Degree Assault that occurred on June 14th.
- July 09, 2009 - The Southern Ohio Fugitive
Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) arrested 24 year-old Gerald Wilson at an
associate’s residence located on East McMicken Avenue in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Wilson is accused of shooting and killing Kenneth Gaines and Mark Davenport
in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 3, 2009.
- June 25, 2009 - The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team
(SOFAST) arrested 26 year-old Fonta Whipple and 25 year-old Jashawn Clark at
a Holiday Inn in Covington, Kentucky. Whipple and
Clark are accused of critically injuring Derryan Holland by shooting him multiple times with an AK-47 rifle in Lockland, Ohio on June 22, 2009.
- June 17, 2009 - The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team/Cincinnati SWAT arrested Alfonzo Stevenson in Cincinnati, Ohio. Stevenson was sought by the Cincinnati Police Department for 6 Felony charges and some other miscellaneous charges. Those charges included Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Robbery, Theft, Harassment, Weapons under Disability, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, and Retaliation against a Witness.
- May 15, 2009 - Southern District of Ohio United States Marshal James Wahlrab, Northern District of Ohio United States Marshal Peter Elliott, and
Columbus Division of Police Chief Walter Distelzweig announce the arrest of
murder suspect George Holston III. Holston was arrested at a home in Canton, OH. Holston is charged with the murder of
Gerald Fuller. According to the criminal complaint, on December 20, 2008,
Holston and the victim got into an altercation at a home on in
Columbus. Holston allegedly took out a handgun and shot the victim in the
chest. Holston was formally charged with the murder on December 22, 2008,
and he was one of the Central Ohio Crime Stoppers 10 most wanted fugitives.
- May 13, 2009 - The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST)
arrested 32 year-old Courtney Givan in Cincinnati, Ohio. Givan is
accused of shooting Jervarion Wright at an apartment complex in Montgomery,
Alabama on May 09, 2009. Givan has a lengthy criminal record that includes felony assaults and robberies.
- May 12, 2009 - Luis Sanchez Jr., age 21, was arrested this morning by the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) and the Newark Police Department. SOFAST is a team of law enforcement officers led by the United States Marshals Service. An arrest warrant for Sanchez was issued in Springfield, Massachusetts on May 11, 2009 for Rape of a Child, Distributing Obscene Material to a Minor, two counts of Enticing a Child Under 16, Indecent Exposure, and Assault and Battery on a Child Under 14.
