  • November 13, 2009 - Cathy J. Jones, Acting United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio and Montgomery County Sheriff Phil Plummer, announce the arrest of Lawrence W. Yancey. Yancey, who has an extensive criminal history to include assault, domestic violence, arson, robbery, and drugs is also a convicted sex offender after he was convicted of Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor.
  • October 30, 2009 - The two juvenile suspects, 15 years of age and 17 years of age were arrested yesterday by the U.S. Marshals led Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST). Both juvenile suspects are charged with the October 24th Aggravated Robbery and Murder of Herschell Palomore Jr. in Cincinnati.
  • October 19, 2009 - Cathy J. Jones, U.S. Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announced that Marco Medina has been arrested. In August of 2004, United States District Court Judge Edmund A. Sargus Jr. issued a warrant for Medina’s arrest. The warrant charged Medina with Conspiracy and Possession with Intent to Distribute over one hundred kilograms of marijuana.
  • October 07, 2009 - Two murder suspects and an armed kidnapper are apprehended within hours of each other in Cincinnati, Ohio. Antonio Portis, 19 years of age, Demar Edmonds, 22 years of age, and Jerome Taylor, 43 years of age, were arrested yesterday by the U.S. Marshals led Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST).
  • October 01, 2009 - A jury in U.S. District Court here today convicted Michael Harper, 54, of Cincinnati of one count of failure to register as a sex offender, as required by the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA).
  • September 23, 2009 - James M. Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, is proud to announce the 220th Anniversary of the United States Marshals Service on September 24, 2009. The United States Marshals Service is our nation’s oldest and most versatile federal law enforcement agency, who occupies a unique and valued position in our country’s history, and in our criminal justice system.
  • September 18, 2009 - The U.S. Marshals Service in the Southern District of Ohio, the State of Ohio Adult Parole Authority, and the men and women of the Belmont County and Jefferson County Sheriff’s Offices conducted a joint law enforcement effort to keep tabs on local sex offenders in their counties. On September 14-18, 2009, Deputy Sheriffs, Deputy U.S. Marshals, and Adult Parole Officers teamed up to verify the residences of registered sex offenders. This initiative is a collaborative law enforcement effort that is designed to keep the public safe by ensuring that these offenders are complying with sex offender registration obligations and residing where they have reported.
  • September 02, 2009 - Lawrence F. Sipple, 38, of Cincinnati was sentenced to 27 months imprisonment for failing to register as a sex offender, as required by the federal Sex Offender Registration Notification Act (SORNA). Sipple was also placed under court supervision for the rest of his life.
  • August 25, 2009 - James M. Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announces the arrest of Dalcapone Alpaccino Morris. Morris was wanted by the Dayton Police Department for Murder, Kidnapping, Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Burglary and Aggravated Assault.
  • July 31, 2009 - James Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announced today that Bobbie Lee Garrett has been arrested. On February 2, 2009 a warrant was issued for Garrett following the return of a 15 count indictment for Child Abuse-Sexual Abuse of a Minor.
  • July 29, 2009 - James Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announced today that Aaron Gilbert has been arrested. On July 10, 2009 a warrant was issued for Gilbert by the Franklin County Common Pleas Court for Possession of Drugs.
  • July 23, 2009 - Tyjuan Pearson, 24 years of age, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals led Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) and the Springfield Township Police Department. Pearson, who was considered armed and dangerous, was wanted in Kentucky by the Lexington Police Department for 1st Degree Assault that occurred on June 14th.
  • July 09, 2009 - The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) arrested 24 year-old Gerald Wilson at an associate’s residence located on East McMicken Avenue in Cincinnati, Ohio. Wilson is accused of shooting and killing Kenneth Gaines and Mark Davenport in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 3, 2009.
  • June 25, 2009 - The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) arrested 26 year-old Fonta Whipple and 25 year-old Jashawn Clark at a Holiday Inn in Covington, Kentucky. Whipple and Clark are accused of critically injuring Derryan Holland by shooting him multiple times with an AK-47 rifle in Lockland, Ohio on June 22, 2009.
  • June 17, 2009 - The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team/Cincinnati SWAT arrested Alfonzo Stevenson in Cincinnati, Ohio. Stevenson was sought by the Cincinnati Police Department for 6 Felony charges and some other miscellaneous charges. Those charges included Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Robbery, Theft, Harassment, Weapons under Disability, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, and Retaliation against a Witness.
  • May 15, 2009 - Southern District of Ohio United States Marshal James Wahlrab, Northern District of Ohio United States Marshal Peter Elliott, and Columbus Division of Police Chief Walter Distelzweig announce the arrest of murder suspect George Holston III. Holston was arrested at a home in Canton, OH. Holston is charged with the murder of Gerald Fuller. According to the criminal complaint, on December 20, 2008, Holston and the victim got into an altercation at a home on in Columbus. Holston allegedly took out a handgun and shot the victim in the chest. Holston was formally charged with the murder on December 22, 2008, and he was one of the Central Ohio Crime Stoppers 10 most wanted fugitives.
  • May 13, 2009 - The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) arrested 32 year-old Courtney Givan in Cincinnati, Ohio. Givan is accused of shooting Jervarion Wright at an apartment complex in Montgomery, Alabama on May 09, 2009. Givan has a lengthy criminal record that includes felony assaults and robberies.
  • May 12, 2009 - Luis Sanchez Jr., age 21, was arrested this morning by the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) and the Newark Police Department. SOFAST is a team of law enforcement officers led by the United States Marshals Service. An arrest warrant for Sanchez was issued in Springfield, Massachusetts on May 11, 2009 for Rape of a Child, Distributing Obscene Material to a Minor, two counts of Enticing a Child Under 16, Indecent Exposure, and Assault and Battery on a Child Under 14.
  • April 28, 2009 - United States Marshal James M. Wahlrab announces the arrest of Marvin Myers. Myers was indicted in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas on a first degree felony charge of rape of a child under the age of 13. Myers was also charged with a third degree felony charge of gross sexual imposition.
  • March 24, 2009 - James Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announced today that David McClary has been arrested. The 53 year-old McClary had been on the run for 25 years. In 1984 McClary was convicted of Rape, a first degree felony, and was sentenced to serve a prison term of 5 to 25 years.
  • March 18, 2009 - James Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, Walter Distelzweig, Chief for the City of Columbus Division of Police, and Franklin County Sheriff, James Karnes, announced today that Ishmael Bowers has been arrested. The 26 year-old Bowers was wanted on an alleged Aggravated Murder warrant.
  • March 12, 2009 - James Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, and Walter Distelzweig, Chief for the City of Columbus Division of Police, announced today that Rodney M. Conley has been apprehended. The 47 year-old Conley was wanted by the City of Columbus Division of Police for Murder.
  • February 25, 2009 - The Dayton arm of the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) arrested a female in Wilmington, Ohio. Kendra Rollins, 34, of Middletown, was arrested for aiding and abetting Rodney Young, a fugitive arrested by SOFAST in December 2008 for Murder.
  • February 24, 2009 - Today the people of Central Ohio rest a little easier with the capture of five fugitive sex offenders. Last week Columbus television station WBNS Channel 10 along with Central Ohio Crime Stoppers profiled 10 of the most wanted fugitives in the Columbus area. The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST), a U.S. Marshals Service led task force comprised of federal, state, and local law enforcement organizations, was on the street simultaneously making the arrests.
  • February 19, 2009 - The Dayton arm of the Southern Ohio Fugitive Strike Team (SOFAST) conducted a successful Misdemeanor Round-up February 17 and 18, 2009. Led by the U.S. Marshal Service in Dayton, the operation combined the manpower and efforts of multiple law enforcement agencies. The round up focused on capturing individuals wanted on misdemeanor charges including traffic, drugs, failure to appear and trespassing offenses that occurred on or around the Wright Patterson Air Force Base. SOFAST cleared 36 warrants which included 14 Physical Arrests and 7 Directed Arrests.
  • February 19, 2009 - The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) arrested Norman Dean (DOB 12/06/76) in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dean is accused of murdering Lavon Gaines on Hutchins Lane on May 11, 2007. Dean has a lengthy criminal record that includes felony assaults and drug possession.
  • February 13, 2009 - James M. Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announces the arrest of Justin Hurd. Hurd was identified, by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, as a suspect in the February 4, 2008 triple homicide of Kevin Young, Kinshasha Wagstaff and Jasmine Hines.  Although murder warrants had not yet been issued for Hurd’s arrest, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police contacted Ohio law enforcement agencies, for officer safety reasons, and briefed them on Hurd. 
  • February 10, 2009 - James M. Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio and Huber Heights Chief of Police Robert Schommer, announce the arrest of Joseph Davis.  Davis was wanted by the Huber Heights Police Department for Felonious Assault with a Deadly Weapon.  On January 20th, Davis is alleged to have been involved in an altercation with his ex-girlfriend.  During the altercation, Davis is alleged to have viciously stabbed the woman.  After the near deadly assault, Davis fled the area before police could apprehend him. 
  • February 06, 2009 - The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST), arrested Samuel Nickolas (DOB 05/25/59) at his residence in Harrison, Ohio. Nickolas is wanted by the U.S. Marshals for a Supervised Release Violation that took place in January 2009. Nickolas has an extensive criminal history involving frauds including impersonating a Medical Doctor, Airline Pilot, and Federal Agent.
  • January 30, 2009 - The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST), arrested Tremell Jones a.k.a. “Jelly” (DOB 08/03/79) at his girlfriend’s house in Lockland, Ohio. Jones is wanted by the Fairfield Police Department for a home invasion robbery that took place in August 2008. Jones has an extensive criminal history including numerous arrests and convictions for assaults and drug trafficking.
  • January 28, 2009 - U.S. Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio James M. Wahlrab announces the arrest of Nelson B. Crawford, a fugitive wanted by the Eastern District of Missouri and by the Central District of California. On February 18, 1999, a warrant for the arrest of Crawford was issued by the Federal Court in St. Louis, Missouri. In 2001, a Federal Grand Jury in Los Angeles, California indicted Crawford for conspiracy to import cocaine and for importing cocaine into the United States.
  • January 22, 2009 - James M. Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announces the arrest of Zachary M. Wisor. Wisor, a convicted sex offender, was apprehended by the U.S. Marshals at an address in Beaufort, South Carolina, bringing to end a 2 week man hunt and what will soon be the safe return of 15 year-old runaway teen from Athens, Ohio who was reported missing on January 5th.
  • January 21, 2009 - Sex offender, Steven R. Jackson, is no longer able to hide thanks to the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) and the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force. Jackson was wanted by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department for Failure to Provide Notice of Change of Address, and by the Ohio Adult Parole Authority (APA) for Parole Violation. Jackson was previously convicted of Rape.
  • January 14, 2009 - U.S. Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, James Wahlrab, and Acting Chief for the Columbus Division of Police, Antone Lanata announced today that Terron Demarr Jones has been apprehended. The 19 year old Jones was wanted by the Columbus Division of Police for Rape and Kidnapping. The warrants for Jones were issued after it was alleged that he brutally raped a female victim at gunpoint on January 11, 2008.
  • January 14, 2009 - The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team arrested Demetrius Laron Ruff a.k.a. “Meaty” (DOB 12/06/76) during a felony traffic stop in Cincinnati, OH. Ruff is accused of murdering a 14 year-old juvenile in broad daylight in the Cumminsville neighborhood nearly two years ago.
  • January 12, 2009 - James M. Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announces the arrest of indicted Trotwood Ohio Shooter Michael Carr. An indictment had been returned against Carr by the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court on four counts of Felonious Assault, two counts of having weapons under disability, and illegal possession of a firearm in liquor permit premises.
  • January 08, 2009 - The United States Marshals Service would like to announce Columbus, Ohio federal fugitive Rebecca Parrett is the featured fugitive on www.amw.com, the website for America’s Most Wanted.  Rebecca Parrett is a felon who jumped her bond in March 2008 after being convicted in a high profile, $3 billion fraud case.
  • January 08, 2009 - The U.S. Marshals in Atlanta, acting on a tip from the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team, arrested Robert Mayberry a.k.a. “One-Eyed Kenny” in Atlanta, GA. Mayberry is the leader of the “Grimmie” gang, which controlled the drug trade around Avondale for years. Mayberry is wanted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, and Explosives on federal charges of Distribution of Heroin. Mayberry had been on the run for nearly two years.
  • December 02, 2008 - James M. Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announces the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) has been honored by the Miami Valley Crime Stoppers with a “Special Award” for their hard work and accomplishments over the past year.
  • November 19, 2008 - James M. Wahlrab, U.S. Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announced the successful one year anniversary in October 2008 of the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) in Dayton, Ohio. SOFAST is a U.S. Marshals lead fugitive task force comprised of deputies and officers from 20 local and state law enforcement agencies and covers the greater Miami Valley which includes Champaign, Clark, Darke, Greene, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, and Shelby counties.
  • November 06, 2008 - The U.S. Marshals, Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) arrested David McGlothlin in Cincinnati, OH after the SOFAST unit received a tip putting McGlothlin in the Cincinnati area.  McGlothlin has been on the run for over 19 months and has been on the Arkansas Most Wanted List for over a year. McGlothlin escaped from a federal institution where he was serving prison time for a conviction involving multiple counts of interstate theft of motor vehicles.
  • October 14, 2008 - James M. Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announces the arrest of Edmond Luis Goodman, AKA “Dewey Goodman”. Goodman was wanted by the Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Department in connection with the 7-18-2008 murder of Jason White, 26 years old.
  • October 09, 2008 - The 9th Annual Crime Stoppers of the Year Breakfast was held in Cincinnati, Ohio. The 2008 Crime Stoppers Media Award was awarded to WCPO reporter Shannon Kettler. Shannon Kettler’s passion for the well-being of the Cincinnati community is evident in all she does, but especially in providing the general public with significant and important law enforcement updates on wanted fugitives.
  • September 02, 2008 - James M. Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announces the arrest of Alfred William Cash. Cash was wanted by the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office in Muncie, Indiana for failure to register as a sex offender. Cash, now age 50, was convicted at the age of 32 for rape of a 12 year old girl in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma and has a lifetime registration obligation.
  • July 15, 2008 - James M. Wahlrab, U.S. Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio (S/OH), announced the capture of fugitive Josh Dale Pointer (age 19) by the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST). Pointer escaped from the Hart County Jail in Hartwell, Georgia on July 13, 2008 while facing prosecution for numerous burglaries. Pointer was temporarily being held at the Hart County Jail while serving a 20 year sentence at the Washington State Prison in Davisboro, Georgia for multiple burglary and motor vehicle theft charges from three different counties in Georgia.
  • May 21, 2008 - James M. Wahlrab, U.S. Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announces the arrest of Robert McGee. McGee was wanted by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office for Felonious Assault (causing serious harm), Felonious Assault (with a deadly weapon) and Aggravated Robbery (with a deadly weapon). It is alleged that on April 24, 2008, McGee was involved in a drug deal in  in Dayton, OH that quickly went wrong. McGee attempted to rob the victim during the drug deal and allegedly shot the victim in the chest. The victim was left paralyzed as a result of the shooting.
  • May 16, 2008 - James M. Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announces the arrest of Shawn Brookins. Police allege that 23 year old Brookins shot a man to death in Wheeling, WV. Brookins is now in custody after being on the run for almost two months.
  • May 08, 2008 - The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST), along with the Columbus Division of Police, the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Drug Enforcement Administration, arrested Jermaine Riley.  Riley has been wanted since November 2007 for Possession with Intent to Distribute more than 50 grams of crack cocaine and for using a firearm in the commission of the offense. Riley was recently named as a suspect in the murder case of 9 year old Kiyana-Shae Meilke.
  • April 17, 2008 - Keenan Parks, wanted on charges of Aggravated Robbery, has been arrested by the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST). The SOFAST is a team of law enforcement officers lead by the U.S. Marshals Service. The suspect was arrested in Columbus, OH without incident.
  • April 17, 2008 - The hunt for former National Century Financial Enterprises Inc. executive Rebecca Parrett continues. On March 28, 2008 a U.S. District court judge issued an arrest warrant for Parrett after she failed to report to the Pretrial Services Office near her home in Carefree, Arizona. Parrett was convicted on several counts of fraud on March 13, 2008 and was facing up to 20 years in prison on the more serious counts. Victims in the case suffered losses totaling $2 billion.
  • March 25, 2008 - James Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio announces the arrest of Kevin Boykins. Boykins was arrested today, March 25, by the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) in Columbus, Ohio. On October 25, 2007, the Jackson County West Virginia Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for Boykins charging him with Failure to Appear for Indictment.
  • March 12, 2008 - Charles Mike Law was arrested today by members of the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST). The 55 year old was wanted by authorities for Felonious Assault. The warrant for Law stems from what U.S. Marshals Service Assistant Chief Cathy Jones called a “Drug deal gone bad.” On February 25, 2008 Law was attempting to buy illegal narcotics when he allegedly shot the narcotics dealer twice in the head at close range.
  • February 05, 2008 - Frederick Middlebrooks Jr. was arrested in Cincinnati by the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST). SOFAST is a team of law enforcement officers led by the United States Marshals Service. Middlebrooks was arrested in Cincinnati, Ohio, without incident. An arrest warrant for Middlebrooks was issued in Columbus, Ohio on February 3, 2008 for rape of a child under 13.
  • December 20, 2007 - James M. Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announces the arrest of Jayvone Pickens. Pickens was wanted by the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office in South Carolina for a murder that occurred in 2002. Since that time, Pickens has been on the run.
  • December 20, 2007 - James M. Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announces the arrest of Allen Keyshawn Wright.  Wright was wanted by the Dayton Police Department for violations of his terms of probation and felonious assault.
  • December 06, 2007 - James M. Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio and Toby L. Spencer, Sheriff for Darke County Ohio, announces the arrest of Zachary Lee Alder. Alder was wanted by the Darke County, Ohio Sheriff’s Office for violations of his terms of probation and wanted by the Randolph County, Indiana Sheriff’s Office for Sex Offender Registration Violations.
  • December 03, 2007 - James Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio announces the arrest of Quinton Peterson. Peterson was arrested at approximately 2pm today by U.S. Marshals in Columbus, Ohio. On November 30, 2007, the Huntington, West Virginia Police Department issued a warrant for Peterson charging him with First Degree Murder and First Degree Robbery.
  • October 25, 2007 - James M. Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio announces the arrest of John Chapman. Chapman was wanted by the Ohio Adult Parole Authority for violation of parole. Chapman was on parole due to original charges of conspiracy and drug trafficking. In 1991, Chapman’s whereabouts became unknown and he was declared a fugitive.
  • October 11, 2007 - The United States Marshals Service Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) received the 2007 Crime Stoppers Law Enforcement Unit of the Year Award at the annual Cincinnati Crime Stoppers Awards breakfast held on October 10, 2007. Accepting the award on behalf of the task force and its multiple federal, state, and local law enforcement partners was United States Marshal James Wahlrab, Southern District of Ohio.
  • September 20, 2007Aster Brewer, a fugitive who walked away from a local Dayton halfway was captured in Georgetown Ohio by members of the Georgetown Police and the Brown County Sheriffs office after a multi county investigation spear headed by the United States Marshals.
  • August 09, 2007 - Kenneth Larry Belcher, II, age 30 and a former resident of Miami County, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to one count of failure to register as a sexual offender. This is the first federal indictment in southern Ohio brought under the Sexual Offender Registration and Notification Act which is part of the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act passed by Congress in 2006.
  • June 28, 2007 - A man accused of the April 25, 2007 murder of Kenneth B. Crawford was apprehended by the U.S. Marshals Services’ Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) in Columbus, Ohio today. Jaquel Gore was arrested in Columbus.
  • May 29, 2007 - James M. Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announced the arrest of fugitive James Wetherspoon, a native born Dayton resident who was wanted by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department in Birmingham, Alabama for possession of controlled substances and failing to register as a sex offender. The Sheriff’s office had solicited the help of the United States Marshals Service led Gulf Coast Regional Task Force (GCRTF) who determined that Wetherspoon had fled Alabama and headed back to his hometown of Dayton, Ohio.  Wetherspoon was convicted of Rape and Sexual Assault in Dayton in 1982 and has a prior arrest for failing to register in Montgomery County in 2001.
  • May 25, 2007 - James M. Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio announced the arrest of Kenneth Belcher. Belcher was wanted by the Miami County Sheriffs Office for failure to register as a sexual offender and by the Ohio Adult Parole Authority for escape and violation of his state parole. Belcher was on parole in Ohio due to an original charge of Rape.
  • April 24, 2007 - Ozie Mitchell Brime was arrested on the north east side of Columbus by the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST). SOFAST is a team of law enforcement officers led by the United States Marshals Service.  Brime was indicted in early April for allegedly firing multiple shots from a firearm at an occupied vehicle in Columbus.
  • March 16, 2007 - James M. Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio announces the arrest of Terry Thompson. Thompson was wanted by the Mississippi Department of Corrections for violating his probation and by the Rankin County (Mississippi) Sheriffs Office for failure to register as a sexual offender.
  • March 15, 2007 - James M. Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio announces the arrest of Eric Benson. Benson was wanted by the Houston County (Georgia) Sheriffs Office for violating his probation. Benson was on probation due to an original charge of child molestation.
  • February 27, 2007 - Jim Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio announces the arrest of Johnny Barreto on February 23, 2007. Barreto was wanted by the Mercer County, New Jersey, Sheriffs Office for failure to register as a sexual offender.
  • January 09, 2007 - James M. Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announces the arrest of fugitive couple William and Lisa Cook. The husband and wife team had outstanding federal and local warrants for crimes committed in both the State of Ohio and the State of Kentucky.
  • December 22, 2006 - James M. Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announces the arrest of Norris Lee Pass Jr. Pass was wanted by the Seattle, Washington Police Department as the primary suspect for a violent rape in 2005.
     
  • November 14, 2006 - A man wanted by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department on two counts of rape and one count of sexual battery was arrested this morning in Medway, Ohio. Donald Elsworth Martin, 64, of Charlotte, was charged with two counts of rape, second degree where the victim was physically helpless or disabled, and one count of sexual battery.
  • November 02, 2006 - A man wanted in Columbus on charges of homicide was arrested earlier this morning in Dayton, Ohio. Terrell Love Givens, 19, of Columbus, was charged with killing Brian Williams in Columbus, Ohio on March 26, 2006.
