District News:  June 24, 2015 - Paul Sanchez was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshals Service in El Paso, TX on June, 23, 2015. An arrest warrant was issued pursuant to an investigation by the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office, where it is alleged that Sanchez committed offenses including: First Degree Murder, 3 counts of Attempted Murder, Conspiracy to Commit First Degree Murder, Aggravated Battery, Bribery of a Witness, and Tampering with Evidence.  Read More

June 23, 2015 - The U.S. Marshals Service South West Investigative Fugitive Team took custody of Andres Bermudez today. On December 28, 2011, Danny Herrera was allegedly murdered in his apartment by his friend Andres Bermudez. Albuquerque Police reported Herrera and Bermudez were having a pre-New Year’s Eve celebration when Bermudez stabbed Herrera then fled the scene.  Read More
