The U.S. Marshals New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force is pleased
to announce the arrest of Brandon Legere, 29, of Manchester, NH. Members
of the taskforce, Manchester Police Department, and the Hillsborough
County Sheriff’s Department participated in the arrest. Legere was
wanted for violating the conditions of his supervised release while on
probation.

The U.S. Marshals Service is pleased to announce the
arrest of escaped fugitive Anthony Ray Perkins in Brattleboro, VT by members
of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and the Brattleboro, VT Police
Department. On February 2,
2010, Perkins failed to return to the minimum security Calumet Transitional
Housing Unit in Manchester, NH and was placed on escape status. Perkins was
serving a three to seven year sentence for burglary after previously serving
a three to seven year sentence for robbery. Since Perkins’ escape, he has
been avoiding arrest by moving around and hiding with friends in both New
Hampshire and Vermont.

July 20, 2009
- Jason Schalebaum, 26, was arrested in Deland,
FL by members of the U.S. Marshals led Regional Fugitive Task Force.
Schalebaum was arrested on a warrant issued by the New Durham, NH Police
Department. The New Durham Police Department obtained the arrest warrant for
the following charges: three counts of first-degree assault, three counts of
second-degree assault, two counts of simple assault and one count of
reckless conduct, by placing another in danger.

- The U.S. Marshals Service is pleased to
announce that fugitive John Baldasaro was arrested by the U.S. Marshals
Fugitive Task Force in New York City. Baldasaro was located in
Manhattan, NY and arrested on numerous outstanding warrants from
throughout New England. The investigation by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive
Task Force started after being contacted by the Chesterfield (NH) Police
Department. The Chesterfield Police Department stated that someone had
impersonated a U.S. Marshal to kidnap and rob multiple victims. This
suspect was later identified as John Baldasaro.
