U.S. Marshal Kelly Nesbit

 Kelly Nesbit was nominated by President Obama to be the U.S. Marshal for the Western District of North Carolina on January 20, 2010.

 

Kelly Nesbit was the Chief Deputy United States Marshal for the Western District of North Carolina. He joined the United States Marshals Service as a Deputy U.S. Marshal in 1983 and rose through the ranks to his current position in 2006. Chief Nesbit is a graduate of the University of North Carolina where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science in 1982.
