District News: June 17, 2009 - Karen Simons, Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal for the Southern District of Illinois, received a Distinguished Honorable Mention today as a nominee for the 2009 Women in Federal Law Enforcement Award. Chief Deputy Simons was nominated for her superior level of performance and as a role model for other women in law enforcement.
