United States Marshal Roberto Robinson (Acting)


The Director of the U.S. Marshal Service has appointed Acting United States Marshal Roberto Robinson for the Northern District of Illinois. Acting Marshal Robinson will be the Acting Marshal for N/IL until a Marshal is nominated and confirmed by the Senate.

Acting Marshal Robinson has been with the U.S. Marshals Service for 18 years. He began his career in the Southern District of New York, where he is originally from. He then moved on to the Deputy Attorney General protection detail in Washington D.C. who at the time was now FBI Director James Comey. Acting Marshal Robinson was also assigned to the Witness Security division in that area. He then was assigned as Supervisory Deputy for the Southern District of Florida’s Miami office and Fort Lauderdale sub office. After that assignment, Acting Marshal Robinson was the Assistant Chief Deputy in the Eastern District of Michigan and most recently the Chief Deputy in the Northern District of Ohio.
