March 08, 2012 - A Savannah man wanted for Aggravated Child Molestation and 2 counts of False Statements and Writings was arrested by the United States Marshals Service Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Dionte Thomas was wanted by the Chatham County Sheriff’s Department after Thomas failed to appear in court in Savannah, Georgia. March 06, 2012 - A Federal prison escapee on the run since May of 1999, was arrested by members of the Miami Office of the U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force based on an investigation conducted by the Savannah Office of the U.S. Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force. Humberto Messa-Perez was wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service for the Southern District of Georgia for Escape from the Custody of the Attorney General. February 07, 2012 - Jennifer Segrest, on the run for the past two years, was arrested by members of the Savannah Office of the United States Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, the Port Wentworth Police Department and the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office. Segrest was wanted by the Cobb County Police Department for the offenses of child molestation and enticement of a child. February 01, 2012 - Tabias McFadden was arrested by members of the Savannah Office of the United States Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Department, and the Columbia County Sheriff’s Department in Martinez, Georgia on February 1, 2012. January 04, 2012 - A Savannah man wanted for the Armed Robbery of the Wendy’s on Wilmington Island was arrested by the Macon Office of the U.S. Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force. January 02, 2012 - Herman Dessausure, a Savannah man wanted for Murder and Aggravated Assault, was arrested by the Savannah Office of the U.S. Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) Detectives, SWAT, and K-9. December 12, 2011 - A Chatham County man wanted on multiple drug charges was arrested by the United States Marshals Service Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force in Okeechobee, Florida on December 10, 2011. Michael J. Cheuvront, 55, was wanted by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Chatham County Sheriff’s Department. October 31, 2011 - A Savannah man wanted for Murder was arrested by the United States Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force in Atlanta, Georgia on October 31, 2011. Akeem Johnson was wanted by the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) for the offense of Murder that occurred on October 8, 2011. October 17, 2011 - A man wanted by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for numerous felony offenses was captured by the United States Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force (SERFTF), the Chatham County Sheriff’s Department and the Tybee Island Police Department at a hotel on Tybee Island, Georgia. Christopher Ghrist was wanted by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for several felony drug and firearm charges. October 04, 2011 - A Savannah man wanted by the Savannah Chatham Metro Police Department was arrested by the Savannah Office of the United States Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Beaufort-Jasper Multi Agency Drug Task Force in Bluffton, South Carolina. Dwayne Smith was being sought on three warrants by the Savannah Chatham Metro Police Department charging him with Aggravated Assault, Armed robbery, and Possession of a Firearm. September 14, 2011 - A Ten Most Wanted Fugitive wanted by Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) for a June 2011 homicide and aggravated assaults was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Savannah Office of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force (SERFTF) in Augusta, Georgia. Thomas Lamont Dowlen was being sought by the Springfield Police Department on one count of criminal homicide and two counts of aggravated assault and was added to the TBI’s Top Ten Most Wanted list. August 19, 2011 - A Florida man wanted by the Alachua County Sheriff’s Department in Gainesville, Florida was arrested by the United States Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department on August 19, 2011 in Savannah, Georgia. Anthony M. Mathis, 19, was being sought on a warrant by the Alachua County Sheriff’s Department for Robbery. Mathis was part of a crew of young men, who would see a person make a purchase and flash money in a store or other business, and they would follow the person from the business. When outside they would beat the person down and steal their money. August 11, 2011 - A Rincon man wanted on sixteen warrants by four departments was arrested by the United States Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department in Savannah, Georgia. Aaron Craig Hubbard was being sought on two warrants from the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department for Sale of Cocaine and Unlawful Use of Communication Facilities. July 28, 2011 - Two Atlanta men wanted on federal drug warrants for Conspiracy to Possess with the intent to Distribute 50 grams or more of Methamphetamine were arrested by the United States Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force in Atlanta, Georgia. Benjamin Garcia Hernandez and Sylvestre Loyo were indicted in Federal Court in the Southern District of Georgia by the Drug Enforcement Administration in October of 2008. July 01, 2011 - A Tattnall County man wanted for a 1995 Escape in North Carolina was arrested by the United States Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, the Tattnall County Sheriff’s Department, the Reidsville Police Department, and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation on June 30, 2011. Manuel Hrneith, aka Alfredo Arrieta Urieta, 49, was wanted by the North Carolina Department of Corrections for Escape. The Escape occurred in May of 1995 from the New Hanover Correctional Center, in Wilmington, North Carolina. Hrneith was convicted in August of 1991 for Murder in the Second Degree, Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury, and Armed Robbery. Hrneith was sentenced to eighteen years in prison. May 23, 2011 - A Savannah man wanted for Armed Robbery was arrested by the United States Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) Patrol Officers and Garden City K-9 on May 22, 2011. Terry Spencer Simmons, 27, was wanted by the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department for Armed Robbery. April 07, 2011 - A Savannah man wanted on multiple state warrants to include Contempt of Court and Aggravated Assault, and a Federal warrant for Possession with Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine was arrested by the United States Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) K-9. Marion Maurice Fields was wanted by the Chatham County Sheriff’s Department for Contempt of Court on various traffic related charges including no insurance. March 30, 2011 - A Savannah man wanted on multiple warrants to include Probation Violation and Sex Offender Registration Violation was arrested by the Macon Office of the United States Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force. Roy Steven Smith, 52, was wanted by the Chatham County Sheriff’s Department as their Most Wanted Sex Offender. March 08, 2011 - A fugitive wanted in Savannah, Georgia was arrested by the United States Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force. Gary Michael Johnson was wanted by the Savannah Chatham Metro Police Department on various charges including Aggravated Assault, Armed Robbery, Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, Carrying a concealed weapon, Possession of a Controlled Substance, False Name and Escape. January 11, 2011 - A fugitive wanted by the New York Police Department was arrested by the United States Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, and the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) K-9. Gregory Brooks, 29, was wanted by the New York Police Department for the offenses of aggravated assault and bail jumping for an incident that occurred in April of 2010. January 06, 2011 - A fugitive wanted by three local agencies was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, and the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) K-9. Deontray Rashard “Rocky” Bryant was wanted for the offense of kidnapping. Bryant was also wanted by the Garden City Police Department on multiple warrants for Aggravated Assault with a gun, Possession of a Firearm by a convicted felon, Possession of a Firearm during the commission of a crime and Criminal Trespass. October 12, 2010 - A fugitive wanted in Oklahoma was arrested by the United States Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, and the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) Trap Unit on October 6, 2010. Mark Stewart was wanted by the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office on various charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, drug charges, and additional weapons offenses. August 16, 2010 - One of the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department Most Wanted was arrested by the United States Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) K-9 Unit on August 16, 2010. Ronnie Lee Wilson, 21, was wanted by the SCMPD for murder. August 12, 2010 - Two men wanted by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) and the Wrightsville, Georgia Police Department were arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, the GBI, the Wrightsville Police Department, the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department, the Laurens County Sheriff’s Department and the Georgia Department of Corrections K-9 teams. Jarvis Miller and Demarcio Williams were wanted by the Wrightsville Police Department and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation for the offense of murder. August 06, 2010 - A man wanted by the Bay County Sheriff’s Department in Panama City, Florida was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force. Johnathan Everett Gibson, 30, was wanted by the Bay County Sheriff’s Department in Panama City Florida for failure to appear on two warrants, one for Aggravated Battery/Domestic Violence and the other for Leaving the Scene of an Accident with damage. August 05, 2010 - A man wanted by the Georgia Department of Correction was arrested by the arrested by the United States Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force on August 4, 2010. Robert Baker Jr, 30, was wanted by the Georgia Department of Corrections for escape. June 11, 2010 - A man wanted by the Lee County, Virginia Sheriff’s Department was arrested by the United States Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force. Lawrence E. Saghy, 28, was wanted by the Lee County Sheriff’s Department in Jonesville, Virginia. Saghy is wanted in reference to an alleged rape that occurred in May of 2010 in Lee County Virginia. June 09, 2010 - A man wanted by the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) was arrested by the United States Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, SCMPD Trap Unit, and SCMPD K-9 Unit on June 19, 2010. Jamari Reynolds, 26, was wanted by the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department for murder. June 02, 2010 - A man wanted by the Rincon Police Department was arrested by the United States Marshals Service on June 1, 2010. Chris Todd Lowery, 45, was wanted by the Rincon Police Department on a warrant for Theft by Taking a Motor Vehicle in Rincon, Georgia. Lowery allegedly stole a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am belonging to Linda Schaffer. Lowery is also a person of interest/suspect in the death of Schaffer. June 01, 2010 - A man wanted by the Chatham County Sheriff’s Department was arrested by the United States Marshals Service Dallas Fort Worth Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team. Jose Jesus Flores, 22, was wanted by the Chatham County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant for Failure to Appear issued on May 25, 2010 in Savannah, Georgia. Flores was on bond for numerous charges to include Cruelty to Children, Family Violence Act Aggravated Assault, False Imprisonment, and two counts of Family Violence Act Battery. May 20, 2010 - A man wanted by the Georgia Department of Corrections was arrested by the United States Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Brantley County Sheriff’s Department on May 19, 2010. Timothy Michael Childs, 33, was wanted by the Georgia Department of Corrections for Escape. The warrant was issued on May 11, 2010 in Savannah, Georgia. Childs was convicted in Toombs County, Georgia for armed robbery in March of 2001. May 04, 2010 - A man wanted by the Charleston County Sheriff’s Department in Charleston, South Carolina was arrested by the United States Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Savannah Chatham Metro Police Department on May 4, 2010. Kendrick Coakley was wanted by the Charleston County Sheriff’s Department for failure to appear on Possession of Marijuana charges and Carrying a Pistol charge. February 26, 2010 - A man wanted by the Savannah Chatham Metro Police Department was arrested by the United States Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and a SCMPD K-9 unit in Savannah, Georgia on February 26, 2010. Marcus Jacob Jones, 19, was wanted by the Savannah Chatham Metro Police Department on five separate warrants charging him with two burglaries, one aggravated assault with intent to rob, one armed robbery, and one kidnapping with bodily injury. February 16, 2010 - A man wanted by the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service Orlando Office of the Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force in Sanford, Florida. Davin Miquel Thomas, 24, was wanted by the Savannah Chatham Metro Police Department on a warrant issued on December 23, 2009, charging him with Robbery by Sudden Snatching. The victim in the case had a bank bag containing approximately $22,000 in cash. Thomas snatched the bag from the victim and fled. February 09, 2010 - A man wanted by the Savannah Chatham Metro Police Department was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service Macon Office of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department in Valdosta, Georgia. Artez Jamaal Beckett, 24, was wanted by the Savannah Chatham Metro Police Department on three warrants charging him with Armed Robbery, Kidnapping and Burglary. February 03, 2010 - A man wanted by the Spalding County Sheriff’s Department in Griffin, Georgia was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, the Beaufort – Jasper Multi Agency Drug Task Force, and the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Department. Akim Jamal Miller was wanted by the Spalding County Sheriff’s Department and the Griffin, Georgia Police Department on seven separate warrants charging him with eight counts of Child Molestation, seven counts of Enticing a Child for Indecent Purposes, four counts of Statutory Rape, and one count of Party to the Crime of Aggravated Sodomy. February 02, 2010 - A man wanted by the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and SCMPD K-9 officers. Taron Maurice Williams, 25, was wanted by the Savannah Chatham Police Department on a Murder warrant from an incident that occurred on November 27, 2009. January 19, 2010 - A man wanted by the Savannah-Chatham Counter Narcotics Team (CNT) and the Chatham County Sheriff’s Department was arrested by the United States Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) Patrol Officers, SCMPD K-9, and a CNT agent. Herman Lamont Dessasure was wanted by the Savannah-Chatham Counter Narcotics Team on numerous drug related warrants for drug incidents that occurred in 2009. January 07, 2010 - A man wanted by the Mobile Police Department in Mobile, Alabama for Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for Murder was captured by the U.S. Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, the Marshals Service Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force, the Mobile Police Department, and the Port Wentworth Police Department in Port Wentworth, Georgia. Duane Jackson Jr., 22, was wanted by the Mobile, Alabama Police Department for a 2008 murder. December 11, 2009 - A woman wanted by the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Department in Commonwealth of Pennsylvania was captured by the United States Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force in Savannah, Georgia. Barbara Conklin, 42, was wanted by the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Department for Failure to Comply related to a forgery conviction in 2002. Conklin was convicted on a forgery charge in August of 2002. December 09, 2009 - A man wanted by the Chatham County Sheriff’s Department for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender was arrested by the United States Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force Atlanta Office in Fulton County, Georgia. Timothy Collins, 42, was being sought by the Chatham County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender after his release from state prison. October 22, 2009 - An Emanuel County man wanted by the Emanuel County Sheriff’s Department in Swainsboro, Georgia was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Savannah Office of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force in Eden, Georgia. Patric Kersey, 45, was being sought on numerous state warrants for Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer, Aggravated Assault, two charges of Aggravated Battery, and Felony Obstruction. October 21, 2009 - A Florida man wanted by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department in Largo, Florida was arrested by the United States Marshals Savannah Office of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) Precinct Officers in Savannah, Georgia. Jovan Collier, 31, was being sought a state warrant for Aggravated Stalking. October 13, 2009 - A North Carolina man wanted by the Raleigh Police Department was arrested by the United States Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) Westside Precinct Officers in Savannah, Georgia. Justin Jamel Brown, 20, was being sought a state warrant for Armed Robbery, issued on October 9, 2009 in Raleigh, North Carolina. September 22, 2009 - After sixteen months on the run, a man wanted by the Evans County Sheriff’s Department in Claxton, Georgia has been arrested by the U.S. Marshals South Carolina Operation Intercept Fugitive Task Force in Bishopville, South Carolina. Roger Terrell Wilkes, 21, was being sought a state warrant for Failure to Appear. September 21, 2009 - A Savannah man wanted by the Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles and the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) was arrested by the United States Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, SCMPD K-9, SCMPD Detectives, Savannah Impact Officers, and SCMPD Trap Officers in Savannah, Georgia. Roland Parker, 20, was being sought a state warrant for Parole Violation. September 21, 2009 - A Savannah man listed as number two on the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department's (SCMPD) Most Wanted list was arrested by the United States Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, SCMPD K-9, SCMPD Detectives, Savannah Impact Officers, and SCMPD Trap Officers in Savannah, Georgia. Lenard Kearse, 21, was being sought a state warrants for Aggravated Assault and a violent carjacking. August 31, 2009 - A major fugitive wanted on outstanding federal charges for failure to appear was arrested by a joint fugitive operation comprised of Deputy Marshals from the U.S. Marshals Service’s Brunswick Office and members of the following departments to include, Brunswick Police Department, the Glynn County Police Department, the Wayne County Sheriffs Department and the Brunswick State Probation Office. Michael Louis Daniels was being sought on state warrants for Criminal Sexual Conduct, First Degree, Kidnapping, and Assault and Battery with intent to kill. August 19, 2009 - A Vidalia man wanted by the Vidalia Police Department, Toombs Sheriff’s Department, and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department was arrested in a joint effort by the Savannah Office of the United States Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, the Vidalia Police Department, the Toombs County Sheriff’s Department, and the East Central Drug Task Force in Vidalia, Georgia.
