  • October 22, 2009 - An Emanuel County man wanted by the Emanuel County Sheriff’s Department in Swainsboro, Georgia was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Savannah Office of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force in Eden, Georgia. Patric Kersey, 45, was being sought on numerous state warrants for Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer, Aggravated Assault, two charges of Aggravated Battery, and Felony Obstruction.
  • October 21, 2009 - A Florida man wanted by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department in Largo, Florida was arrested by the United States Marshals Savannah Office of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) Precinct Officers in Savannah, Georgia. Jovan Collier, 31, was being sought a state warrant for Aggravated Stalking.
  • October 13, 2009 - A North Carolina man wanted by the Raleigh Police Department was arrested by the United States Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) Westside Precinct Officers in Savannah, Georgia. Justin Jamel Brown, 20, was being sought a state warrant for Armed Robbery, issued on October 9, 2009 in Raleigh, North Carolina.
  • September 22, 2009 - After sixteen months on the run, a man wanted by the Evans County Sheriff’s Department in Claxton, Georgia has been arrested by the U.S. Marshals South Carolina Operation Intercept Fugitive Task Force in Bishopville, South Carolina. Roger Terrell Wilkes, 21, was being sought a state warrant for Failure to Appear.
  • September 21, 2009 - A Savannah man wanted by the Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles and the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) was arrested by the United States Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, SCMPD K-9, SCMPD Detectives, Savannah Impact Officers, and SCMPD Trap Officers in Savannah, Georgia. Roland Parker, 20, was being sought a state warrant for Parole Violation.
  • September 21, 2009 - A Savannah man listed as number two on the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department's (SCMPD) Most Wanted list was arrested by the United States Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, SCMPD K-9, SCMPD Detectives, Savannah Impact Officers, and SCMPD Trap Officers in Savannah, Georgia. Lenard Kearse, 21, was being sought a state warrants for Aggravated Assault and a violent carjacking.
  • August 31, 2009 - A major fugitive wanted on outstanding federal charges for failure to appear was arrested by a joint fugitive operation comprised of Deputy Marshals from the U.S. Marshals Service’s Brunswick Office and members of the following departments to include, Brunswick Police Department, the Glynn County Police Department, the Wayne County Sheriffs Department and the Brunswick State Probation Office. Larry Jackson’s original charges were: Conspiracy to manufacture 1000 or more marijuana plants, Possession of a firearm by a Convicted Felon and Parole Violation.
  • August 31, 2009 - A fugitive wanted by the North Charleston, South Carolina Police Department has been arrested by the Savannah Office of the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department K-9 unit in Savannah, Georgia. Michael Louis Daniels was being sought on state warrants for Criminal Sexual Conduct, First Degree, Kidnapping, and Assault and Battery with intent to kill.
  • August 19, 2009 - A Vidalia man wanted by the Vidalia Police Department, Toombs Sheriff’s Department, and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department was arrested in a joint effort by the Savannah Office of the United States Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, the Vidalia Police Department, the Toombs County Sheriff’s Department, and the East Central Drug Task Force in Vidalia, Georgia. Nicholas Singleton, 30, was being sought on numerous state warrants for Armed Robbery, Burglary, RICO, and Failure to Appear.
  • August 04, 2009 - A Jacksonville Florida man wanted by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Homicide Unit for murder was arrested by the United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Woodbine, Georgia. Donald Lance Crawford, 28, was being sought on state warrants for murder of a 17 month old female child which was left in his care.
  • July 31, 2009 - John Edward Bond, a North Carolina man wanted by the North Carolina Department of Corrections for Probation Violation and by the Wake County Sheriff’s Department for failure to register as a sex offender, was arrested by the United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Brunswick, Georgia on July 30, 2009.
  • July 27, 2009 - A Savannah man wanted by the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department was arrested by the United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on June 26, 2009. Michael Allen Dimsdale, 29, was being sought a state warrant for Possession of Firearms by a Convicted felon, issued in Savannah, Georgia.
  • July 24, 2009 - Hardy Jacobs, a fugitive wanted by the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police department and the Chatham County Sheriff’s Department, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Savannah Office of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and a SCMPD K-9 unit in Savannah, Georgia.
  • July 09, 2009 - A major fugitive wanted on outstanding state charges for a drive-by shooting has been arrested in Dublin, GA by the U.S. Marshals Service Savannah office of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force. Marston Lawrence Tolin was listed as a Most Wanted Fugitive in Oklahoma and had been profiled on television there.
  • May 12, 2009 - A fugitive wanted by the Leon County Sheriff’s Department in Tallahassee, Florida was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Savannah Office of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, MACE Task Force, and Hinesville Police in Hinesville, Georgia on May 10, 2009.
  • May 12, 2009 -  A fugitive wanted by the U.S. Marshals in the Southern District of Georgia and the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Savannah Office of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and SCMPD Patrol units on May 10 in Savannah, Georgia.
  • April 8, 2009 - A fugitive wanted by the United States Marshals in the Southern District of Georgia was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Orlando Office of Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Lake County Sheriff’s Department on April 7, 2009, in Leesburg, Florida.
  • March 30, 2009 -  A fugitive wanted by the Drug Enforcement Administration was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Savannah Office of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and SCMPD Precinct 5 officers on March 30, 2009, in Savannah, Georgia.  Antonio Woodley was being sought on a federal warrant Conspiracy to sell Cocaine and Sale of Cocaine by the Drug Enforcement Administration issued in November 2008.  The case was referred to the Marshals Fugitive Task Force to locate and arrest him.  A joint investigation was conducted by both the Marshals Task Force and the DEA to locate Woodley.  Woodley hasd been in hiding since November 2008.  Woodley was thought to still be in the Savannah area.  On March 28, 2009, information generated by the DEA and Marshals Task Force investigation lead to an address in Savannah.  Marshals Task Force investigators and SCMPD Precinct 5 officers went to Savannah, Georgia and found and arrested  Woodley.
  • March 26, 2009 - A fugitive wanted by the Bryan County Sheriff’s Department was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Savannah Office of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force on March 26, 2009, in Statesboro, Georgia.  Jeffrey Maurice Jones was being sought on a state warrants for Sale of Cocaine (2 charges) and Unlawful Use of a Communication Facility issued by the Bryan County Sheriff’s Department in Pembroke, GA. Jones had eluded capture by the Sheriff’s Department on more than one occasion. The Bryan County Sheriff’s Department requested assistance from the Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force to locate and arrest Jones.
  • March 18, 2009 - A fugitive wanted by the North Dakota State Probation and Parole office was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Savannah Office of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force on March 18, 2009, in Savannah, Georgia.  Joseph Lee Wells was being sought on a state warrant for Parole Violation issued by the North Dakota State Probation and Parole Office. The case was referred to the U.S. Marshals North Dakota Fugitive Task Force for assistance in arresting him on March 4, 2009.
  • March 4, 2009 - A fugitive wanted by the Tattnall County Sheriff’s Department was arrested by the U.S. Marshals in Booneville, Kentucky on March 4, 2009.  Nathan Eric Cutchens was being sought on state warrants for Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Auto Theft issued in Tattnall County, Georgia in January, 2009. 
     
  • February 23, 2009 - A fugitive wanted by the Savannah Chatham Metro Police Department was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Savannah Office of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, SCMPD K-9, and SCMPD Precinct 4 officers in Savannah, Georgia. Roosevelt Brown, 47, was being sought on a state warrant for Burglary.
  • February 06, 2009 - A fugitive wanted by the Georgia Department of Corrections has been arrested by the U.S. Marshals Orlando office of the Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force on February 5, 2009 in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Elliott Crowl, 31, was being sought on a state warrant for Escape issued in Savannah, Georgia on January 30, 2009.
  • February 06, 2009 - A fugitive wanted by the Saratoga Springs, New York Police Department and the United States Marshals Service in the Northern District of New York was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Savannah office of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task on February 6, in Savannah, Georgia. Jeffrey O’Dell, 34, was being sought on a state warrant for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
  • January 27, 2009 - Two fugitives wanted by the Bryan County Sheriff’s Department were arrested by the U.S. Marshals Eastern North Carolina Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Bryan county Sheriff’s Department. Christopher Hair, 26 and Jena Sterno, 19, were being sought on warrants issued in Bryan County for Sale of Controlled Substances.
  • January 27, 2009 - A fugitive wanted by the Georgia Department of Corrections was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department was in Ridgeland, South Carolina on January 27, 2009. David W. Sikes, 39, was being sought on a warrant issued in Chatham County charging him with escape from the Coastal Transitional Center in Savannah, Georgia.
  • January 26, 2009 - A fugitive wanted by the Chatham County Sheriff’s Department was arrested by the U.S. Marshals New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force in Nichols, New York. Michael S. Every, 48, was being sought on a warrant after being indicted in Chatham County, Georgia charging him with nine counts of Child Molestation and Enticing a Child for Indecent Purposes.
  • January 22, 2009 - A fugitive wanted by the Thunderbolt Police Department was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Bloomingdale Police Department. Russell Allan Green, 24, was being sought on a warrants issued in Thunderbolt, Georgia charging him Robbery, Cruelty to Children, and Simple Battery (Domestic Violence Act).
  • January 22, 2009 - A fugitive wanted by the Savannah Chatham Metro Police Department was arrested by the U.S. Marshals New Orleans Fugitive Task Force. Angela Fennell, 28, was being sought on a warrant issued in Savannah, Georgia charging her with Armed Robbery.
  • January 14, 2009 - A fugitive wanted by the Georgia Department of Corrections was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Savannah Office of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, Georgia Department of Corrections K-9 officers and other Corrections officers. Jesse James Holliday (aka Jesse James Brandt), 38, was being sought on a warrant charging him with escape.
  • January 12, 2009 - A fugitive wanted by the Savannah Chatham Metro Police Department was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Savannah Office of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and SCMPD Special Investigations Detective in Savannah, Georgia. Malcolm Xavier Tartt, 18, was being sought on a warrant issued in Savannah, Georgia charging him with Aggravated Assault by pointing a shotgun and threatening to shoot the victim.
  • January 06, 2009 - A fugitive wanted by the Jasper County, South Carolina Sheriff’s Department was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force in Savannah, Georgia. Kelly Lamont Anderson, 32, was being sought on a warrants issued in Jasper County, South Carolina charging him with Trafficking in Crack Cocaine, Trafficking in Cocaine, Possession with intent to distribute Marijuana, Possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, and a warrant issued by the South Carolina Department of Parole for probation violation for a previous drug charge.
  • December 15, 2008 - A fugitive wanted by the Sylvania, Georgia Police Department was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Greenville, South Carolina on December 12, 2008. Juan Manuel Velazquez Garcia, 20, was being sought on a 2006 warrant issued in Sylvania, Georgia charging him with Aggravated Assault with Intent to Rape.
  • December 09, 2008 - A fugitive wanted by the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in New York City, New York. Devon Emanuel Richardson, 19, was being sought on a warrant issued in Savannah, Georgia charging him with Murder.
  • October 23, 2008 - A fugitive wanted by the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department was arrested by the Deputy U.S. Marshals from the Columbus, Georgia office and the Troup County Sheriff’s Department on October 22, 2008. Jerry Edwards, 26, was being sought on a warrant issued in Savannah, Georgia charging him with Aggravated Child Molestation on a minor.
  • October 21, 2008 - A fugitive wanted by the Georgia Department of Corrections was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Jacksonville, Florida Fugitive Task Force. Ross Singleton, 33, was being sought on warrants issued in Savannah, GA charging him with Escape. Singleton was being housed at the Coastal Transitional Center on Stiles Avenue in Savannah after serving a prison sentence for trafficking cocaine, possession of burglary tools, obstruction of an officer and impersonation from a 2003 conviction.
  • October 17, 2008 - A fugitive wanted by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office was captured by the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force on October 16, 2008. Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office requested the assistance of U.S. Marshals, Jacksonville Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force to locate and arrest. Dellgra R. Knighton was being sought on a warrant issued in Jacksonville, Florida charging her with Bank Robbery.
  • October 01, 2008 - A fugitive wanted by the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the SCMPD K-9 unit. Shahee Gordon, 21, was being sought on warrants issued in Savannah, Georgia charging him with Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer, Fleeing to Elude, and Criminal Damage to Property.
  • September 18, 2008 - A fugitive wanted by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office on outstanding warrants was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, the Jenkins County Sheriff’s Department and the Millen Police Department in Millen, Georgia on September 17, 2008. Cedric Cutter, 27, was being sought on a warrant issued in Jacksonville, Florida charging him with Two Counts of Murder.
  • September 17, 2008 - Mario Morgan, a sex offender wanted by the Chatham County Sheriff’s Department on five outstanding warrants was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Chatham County Sheriff’s Department on September 17, 2008.
  • September 11, 2008 - A major fugitive wanted by the Savannah Chatham Counter Narcotics Team was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force on September 11, 2008.  Aubrey Rodriguez Williams, 32, was being sought on a warrants issued in Savannah, Georgia charging him with Conspiracy to Violate the Georgia Controlled Substances Act, Trafficking in Cocaine, and Possession of Marijuana.
  • August 20, 2008 - A fugitive wanted by the Savannah Chatham Metro Police Department was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force. Devon Sharif Doyle, 19 was being sought on a warrants issued in Savannah, Georgia charging him with Murder and Aggravated Assault from an incident that happened on August 17, 2008.
  • July 30, 2008 - A fugitive wanted by the Savannah Chatham Metro Police Department (SCMPD) has been captured by the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, SCMPD Trap Unit and SCMPD K-9. SCMPD referred the case to the Marshals Fugitive Task Force to locate and arrest. The Marshals Task force conducted an extensive investigation. Christopher King, 23, was being sought on a warrant issued in Savannah, Georgia charging him with Murder.
  • July 10, 2008 - A fugitive wanted by the Savannah Chatham Metro Police Department was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Statesboro Police Department on July 9, 2008 in Statesboro, GA.  Akeem Saad Johnson, 24, was being sought on a warrants issued in Savannah, Georgia charging him with Robbery by Force in an incident that occurred on December 21, 2007.
  • May 20, 2008 - A fugitive wanted by the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department and the Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police K-9 Unit, and Savannah Impact officers on May 20, 2008 in Savannah, GA. Larry Jiles, 21, was being sought on a warrants issued in Jasper County, South Carolina charging him with three Armed Robberies and two charges of Possession of a weapon by a Felon that occurred on November 19, 2007.
  • May 02, 2008 - A fugitive wanted by the Kingsland Police Department was arrested by the U.S. Marshals South Florida Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team in Florida City, Florida based on information generated by the Savannah Office of the Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force. Amos Southall, 27, was being sought on a warrant issued in Kingsland/Camden County, Georgia charging him with Murder.
  • May 02, 2008 - A fugitive wanted by the Sylvania Police Department was arrested by the U.S. Marshals New York /New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force in Brooklyn, New York on May 1, 2008, based on information generated by the Savannah Office of the Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force. Tyoune Hasheen Young, 17, was being sought on warrants issued in Sylvania, Georgia charging him with Murder.
  • April 25, 2008 - A fugitive wanted by the Glynn County Sheriff’s Department was by the U.S. Marshals New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force in Rochester, New York on April 25, 2008, based on information generated by the Savannah Office of the Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force. John Cunningham, 27, was being sought on warrants issued in Glynn County, Georgia charging him with Probation Violation and Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
  • April 23, 2008 - A sexual predator fugitive wanted by the Chatham County Sheriff’s Department for a Felony Probation Violation was arrested by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Department. Stephen Alexander Bell was being sought on a Probation Violation Warrant issued in Savannah, Georgia charging him with violating his probation for the removal of the state mandated monitoring device. Bell was declared a sexual predator by the Sexual Offender Review Board on March 14, 2008.
  • April 21, 2008 - A fugitive wanted by Savannah Police Department for Murder was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) Trap Unit in Savannah, GA. Jarnard M. Williams, 18, was being sought on a Bench Warrant issued in Savannah, Georgia charging him with Murder, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm in Committing a Crime, and Theft By Receiving Stolen Property.
  • February 05, 2008 - A fugitive wanted by Savannah Police Department for Armed Robbery was arrested by members of Atlanta U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force in Jonesboro, GA.  Terrell Mack, 19, was being sought on two warrants issued in Savannah, Georgia charging him with two Armed Robberies that occurred on January 13, 2008.
  • February 05, 2008 - A fugitive wanted by Savannah Police Department for Aggravated Assault was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Glennville Police Department in Glennville, GA. Thomas Brown, 20, was being sought on two warrants issued in Savannah, Georgia charging him with two Aggravated Assaults that occurred on December 20, 2007.
  • January 07, 2008 -  Edmund A. Booth, Jr., United States Attorney for the Southern District of Georgia, announced today that Charles Kevin Kertell, age 48, formerly of Seffner, Florida, was sentenced in United States District Court by U.S. District Judge B. Avant Edenfield to 33 months’ imprisonment for failing to register as a sex offender in violation of Title 18,United States Code, Section 2250.
  • December 13, 2007 - A fugitive wanted by the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Police Department for Murder was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force this morning December 13, 2007 at a Statesboro, Georgia address.  Lafayette Holt, 18, was being sought on a warrant issued in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania charging him with Murder that occurred on October 30, 2007.
  • December 11, 2007 - A fugitive wanted by Savannah Police Department for Aggravated Assault was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) Patrol Units and SCMPD Canine Units at an address on Alaska Street in Savannah, GA.
  • November 19, 2007 - Joseph Charles Rodgers, a fugitive wanted by the Savannah Chatham Counter Narcotics Teams on outstanding charges for Possession of Marijuana more than an Ounce, Possession and use of drug related objects, Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and Possession of Marijuana with intent to distribute has been arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force in Bloomingdale, GA
  • November 19, 2007 - A fugitive wanted on outstanding state charges for Armed Robbery and Aggravated Battery has been arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force in Savannah, Georgia.  Shahee Rakee Gordon, 20, was being sought on two warrants issued in Savannah, Georgia charging him with Armed Robbery and Aggravated Battery.
  • October 22, 2007 - A fugitive wanted by Irvington Police Department in Irvington, New Jersey was arrested by U.S. Marshals Savannah office, the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department in Hardeeville, SC on October 22, 2007.
