District News:  October 22, 2009 - An Emanuel County man wanted by the Emanuel County Sheriff’s Department in Swainsboro, Georgia was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Savannah Office of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force in Eden, Georgia. Patric Kersey, 45, was being sought on numerous state warrants for Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer, Aggravated Assault, two charges of Aggravated Battery, and Felony Obstruction.  Read More

October 21, 2009 - A Florida man wanted by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department in Largo, Florida was arrested by the United States Marshals Savannah Office of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) Precinct Officers in Savannah, Georgia. Jovan Collier, 31, was being sought a state warrant for Aggravated Stalking.   Read More
