- October 31, 2013 - Members of the First State Fugitive
Task Force and Wilmington Police Department apprehended David
Hinson, 30, at the Super Lodge Hotel, 1212 West Avenue in New
castle, De. Hinson was wanted for Murder 1st and Weapons Charges
stemming from an October 27, 2013 homicide that occurred in the 2500
block of N. Washington Street in Wilmington, DE.
- October 24, 2013 – Members of the First State Fugitive
Task Force and Wilmington Police Dept. apprehended Edwin Ramirez,
19, in the 200 block of N. Rodney Street without incident. Ramirez
was wanted out of Johnson County, Kansas by the Overland Park Kansas
Police dept. for rape, sexual battery and contributing to a child’s
misconduct from an incident that occurred in January, 2013.
- October 24, 2013 - U.S. Marshals First State Fugitive
Task Force assisted Delaware State Police with investigation and
eventual capture of Tyler Morin and Amy Hammond both Sussex County,
DE. The pair were wanted on multiple burglary, theft, credit card
fraud and identity theft from a crime spree that spanned from May,
29, 2013-June 5, 2013. They were arrested in Miami Florida with the
assistance of the U.S. Marshals Task Force. The couple was
extradited back to Delaware and are currently detained pending court
- September 30, 2013 – Members of the First State Fugitive
Task Force working with officials in the USMS District Task Force in
Puerto Rico and USMS NY/NJ Regional Task Force worked to locate Rene
Vega-Amaro, of Puerto Rico into custody in Hammonton, N.J. Vega-Amaro
was wanted out of Puerto Rico for homicide and related charges.
Vega-Amaro was being held in Cumberland Co. Prison to be processed
on charges to await his extradition hearing.
- September 30, 2013 – Members of the Delaware First State
Fugitive Task Force in conjunction with Deputy Marshals from the
Pacific N/W Violent Offender Task Force arrested Jason R. Elgart, 37
in Vancouver, WA on outstanding charges from Kent County Superior
Court for FTA on weapons and related charges. Elgart was a
prohibited felon and failed to appear for court hearing related to
his charges. Elgart was being held in Washington State pending
extradition to Delaware.
- August 28, 2013 – Deputy U.S. Marshals and members of the
First State Fugitive Task Force arrested Megan K Fields, 24 and
co-defendant Stephen M. Campbell, 33, both of Elkton, MD. on
attempted first degree robbery and weapons charges. The incident
occurred on August 19, 2013 when the pair attempted to rob an
elderly man outside a bank in Glasgow, DE. When the pair were
apprehended they were also in a stolen vehicle from the state of
Maryland. Additional charges related to that investigation are
- August 21, 2013 - Deputy U.S. Marshals from the District
of Delaware and the
U.S. Marshals Task Force from Southern Illinois arrested Leamond J.
Pearce in a suburb of East St. Louis. Pearce is a convicted
murderer from Delaware, in addition to being wanted in Nebraska for his
involvement in a car crash that killed a 2 year-old infant. At the
time of the crash, Pearce was also wanted in Delaware for Parole
Violations. Pearce will be extradited to Nebraska, then eventually to
Delaware to answer the outstanding charges in each state.
- May 31, 2013 - Deputy U.S. Marshals and members of the
First State Fugitive Task Force arrested Darcell Coleman, 28, of
Wilmington, in a residence in East Orange, NJ. Coleman was wanted on
outstanding Murder charges from the Wilmington Police department
stemming from an incident that occurred on May 12, 2013 where
Coleman shot and killed a man. Coleman was held at the time in Essex
County jail pending extradition to Delaware to face the Murder and
- April 23, 2013 - Deputy U.S. Marshals, working off leads
developed through investigations with state and local agencies, were
able to arrest a man wanted for a 2006 Homicide.
Miguel H. Aramiz, 34, indicted on charges of Murder and Weapons
Possession, was arrested by police and U.S. Marshals in Tenancingo,
Mexico and currently awaits extradition to the United States.
- February 08, 2013 - Deputy U.S. Marshals, assigned to the
First State Fugitive Task Force, and officers from the New Castle
County Police Department apprehended Gordon Potter, 24, of the 100
block of Einstein Drive as he left the Christiana Mall. Potter was
wanted by New Castle County Police, Delaware State Police, Elsmere
Police on over 25 counts of Robbery and Weapons charges. In
addition, Potter was wanted by New Castle County Superior Court,
Court of Common Pleas and Family Court for Outstanding Capiases.
Potter was arrested and was detained in fault of $512,000 cash bail.
- January 25, 2013 - Deputy U.S. Marshals and members of
the First State Fugitive Task Force arrested Kasheif J. Dollard, 27,
of Wilmington, at a Philadelphia residence. Dollard was wanted on
outstanding Murder charges from the Wilmington Police department
stemming from an incident that occurred on July 20, 2012 where Dollard shot and killed his cousin over a dispute. Dollard waived
extradition and was returned to Delaware to face the Murder and
- January 23, 2013 - Deputy U.S. Marshals from District of
with officers from Middletown PD arrested Stephen Grabowski, 23, and
Heather Zurfluh in the 100 block of Richards Drive near Newport on
Robbery, Conspiracy and Child Endangerment charges from an incident
that occurred on October 31, 2012 in Middletown.
- October 11, 2012 - Deputy U.S. Marshals from District of
Newark Police Department arrested Edward W. Benson III, 31, of
Greenwood St. in Elkton, MD on Attempted Murder and Weapons charges
from an incident that occurred on September 28, 2012 in Newark.
Benson was arrested in a parking lot in Elkton, MD and turned over
to the Maryland State Police to be charged as a fugitive and
detained until he will be extradited to Delaware.
- October 06, 2012 - Deputy U.S. Marshals from District of
Delaware State Police Troopers arrested Theodore Baumgardner, of
Elsmere on Kidnapping, Assault, Terroristic Threatening, Harassment
and Malicious Interference charges from an incident that occurred on
September 28, 2012 in the City of Wilmington. Baumgardner was
arrested in a residence in Millsboro, DE and turned over to the
Wilmington Police Department for processing.
- July 12, 2012 - Deputy U.S. Marshals from District of
Delaware and U.S. Marshals Service
NY/NJ Regional Task Force Office along with Milford Police
Department arrested Maurice Blackstone, 21, of Milford on Robbery,
Assault (1st Degree) and Weapons charges from an incident that occurred in
May, 2012 where Blackstone shot and robbed a minister from a local
church. Blackstone was apprehended in Trenton, NJ.
- May 12, 2012 - Deputy U.S. Marshals, along with Milford
Police Department, arrested Scott Kerin, 25, of Rehoboth Beach, on
Rape (4th degree), Unlawful Sexual Contact (1st degree) and
Endangering the Welfare of a Child, from an incident that occurred in
2008. Kerin was arrested in Milton, DE.
- April 25, 2012 - Deputy U.S. Marshals from the First
State Fugitive Task Force and Dover Police Department arrested Devin
Coleman, 24, on Assault, Reckless Endangering and Firearms charges
stemming from a shooting investigation that occurred in Dover, DE,
Coleman was captured in Newark, NJ.
- February 01, 2012 - Deputy U.S. Marshals and members of
the New Castle County Police Department arrested Dakevis Reed, 20,
of Wilmington on charges stemming from December 2011 incidents in
Rosegate Community. Reed was wanted on Weapons offenses and
Aggravated Menacing. At the time of the arrest Reed was in
possession of a .380 caliber handgun.
- January 31, 2012 - Deputy U.S. Marshals from the First
State Fugitive Task Force and New Castle County Police Department
arrested Claude Lacombe, 23, on Murder charges related to December
26, 2011 shooting that occurred in Newark, De. Lacombe was captured
in Philadelphia, PA.
- January 31, 2012 - Members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive
Task Force arrested Marvin Holmes, 42, at a local bar in
Philadelphia for Rape and Strangulation charges stemming from an
investigation from the Newark Police Department in November 2011.
- January 04, 2012 - Deputy U.S. Marshals from the
First State Fugitive Task Force and Dover Police Department arrested
Marcus Feliciano, 40, on Bank Robbery and Failure to Register as a
Sex Offender charges when he was captured at a hotel in New Castle
