A fugitive wanted on multiple Delaware charges, including Aggravated Menacing and the Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Felony, Failure to Register as a Sex Offender and Violation of Probation, was arrested today by members of the U.S. Marshals First State Fugitive Task Force. Task Force Officers arrested Pierre Johnson, 19 years of age, at approximately 4:00pm on December 20, 2006.

While conducting surveillance on the East Side of Wilmington, Task Force Officers located Johnson at the corner of Eighth and Kirkwood Streets. He was arrested without incident and transported to the New Castle County Police Department for processing and his arraignment.

The U.S. Marshals First State Fugitive Task Force consists of Deputy U.S. Marshals, Delaware State Police, Delaware State Probation and Parole, New Castle County Police, and Wilmington Police.
