District News:  June 05, 2013 - Since its creation in December 2011, a local U.S. Marshals Sex Offender Investigations Squad has arrested and prosecuted 50 sex offenders for federal and District of Columbia sex offender registration violations. The team is dedicated to enforcing the Adam Walsh and Child Safety Protection Act of 2006 and the District of Columbia Sex Offender Registration Act of 1999 in the Washington metro area.  Read More
