District News: January 17, 2009 - Jesse Sloan,39, was arrested in Fort Garland by members of the Fugitive Location and Apprehension Group (FLAG), the Alamosa Police Department, the Alamosa County Sheriff’s Office, the Costilla County Sheriff’s Office, the Colorado State Patrol, and parole officers from the Colorado Department of Corrections. Sloan was wanted by the Colorado Department of Corrections for parole violation on original charges of escape and theft. Sloan had an extensive criminal history and was known to use aliases.
