The United States Marshals Service for the Northern District of California is partnered with other Federal, State and Local law enforcement agencies, to investigate/locate and apprehend violent offenders and sexual predators with warrants for their arrest, in an around the San Francisco Bay Area.

As part of the Pacific South West Regional Fugitive Task Force (PSWRFTF), Deputy Marshals are partnered with Agents from the California Dept. of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) Fugitive Apprehension Team (FAT), the San Francisco Police Dept. & the Oakland Police Dept.

As part of our commitment to the safety of the community, the U.S. Marshals Sexual Offender Investigative Branch, (SOIB) investigates and apprehends sexual predators and assist local law enforcement agencies in ensuring compliance with California State Law Sex Offender Registration.
