  • June 12, 2007 - A federal fugitive on the Scottsdale Police Department’s most wanted list for aggravated assault has been apprehended by U.S. Marshals in Los Angeles.  Ronald Sipes, age 36 of Phoenix was being south by the Scottsdale Police Department for aggravated assault, which occurred on December 23, 2006. It is alleged that Sipes repeatedly beat his girlfriend and burned her repeatedly with a blowtorch in a Motel 6 motel room in Scottsdale.
  • February 1, 2007 - Recruiting Period is Closed.  Currently, the United States Marshals Service is hiring for the position of Deputy United States Marshal in the Los Angeles area.  Information sessions will be held between February 20 and March 2, 2007, at the Roybal Federal Building located at 255 E. Temple Street, Los Angeles, CA. These information sessions are part of a new hiring process being implemented.
