District of Arizona
History
The United States
Marshal Office in Phoenix was established on February 24, 1863.
The first U.S. Marshal for the Territory of Arizona was Milton B. Duffield.
On June 20, 1910, the District of Arizona was created. The District
became effective on February 14, 1912, the date that the State of Arizona
was created. The following is a list of the United States Marshals for the Territory
