October 02, 2009
- Troy Wayne Fletcher, a federal fugitive on
the run for three years, was captured by U.S. Marshals Service. Fletcher
was indicted on child pornography charges in the Western District of
Arkansas in November of 2006. Fletcher was on a home detention monitor
while awaiting trial. Fletcher cut the monitor off and went on the run
in December of 2006.

October 02, 2009 -
The Northwest Arkansas Sex Offender and Violent Crime Task Force
arrested Terry Hayes, 41, in the Gravette, Arkansas area this morning
after an exhaustive man hunt. On September 28, 2009, a federal warrant
was issued for Hayes’ arrest for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

September 21, 2009
- On September 17, 2009, Keith A. McGarry
(41 years of age) and Jeremy Estes (37 years of age) were indicted in
the Western District of Arkansas on federal charges related to the
receipt and possession of sexually explicit materials involving
children.

June 11, 2009
- The U.S. Marshals Service and the
Northwest Arkansas Sex Offender & Violent Crime Task Force announce its
new FUSION Center for sex offenders. In May 2009, the NWA Task Force
relocated from its Springdale location to the new U. S. Marshals Service
office located in the Federal Building at 35 E. Mountain Street,
Fayetteville. The new location now offices the NWA Fugitive Task Force
and the FUSION Center, which enables sex offenders throughout Northwest
Arkansas to report to a central location for registration, address
changes, and other updates.

April 22, 2009
- The U.S. Marshals Service and the
Washington County Sheriff’s Office announce the arrest of Donna Wilson
Hanna, age 47. Hanna was arrested on federal charges of Unlawful Flight
to Avoid Prosecution, which is directly associated with Hanna’s State
charges of Interference with Custody, a class D Felony in Arkansas. At
the time of arrest, Hanna’s daughter was placed in the custody of a
court appointed attorney. Hanna had been on the run since March 29,
2009, when she fled Arkansas with her daughter.

April 21, 2009
- The U.S. Marshals Service, Western
Arkansas Sex Offender and Violent Crime Task Force, announce the arrest
of Jason Foerster, age 34. On April 20, 2009, Investigators with the
Task Force received a tip indicating Foerster, who was wanted for a
Federal Parole Violation resulting in a recent arrest by the Fort Smith
Police Department. On March 14, 2009 Foerster was arrested by the Fort
Smith Police Department and charged with Robbery, Fleeing, Loitering and
Carrying a Weapon.

April 17, 2009 -
The U.S. Marshals Service, Western Arkansas Sex Offender and Violent
Crime Task Force, announce the arrest of Rex Ellis Allen, age 49. At
approximately 7:30 p.m. on April 16, 2009, Investigators with the Task
Force developed information indicating Allen, who was wanted for Parole
Violations - Petition to Revoke his Suspended Sentence and Failure to
Register as a Sex Offender, was in Mountainburg, Arkansas.

April 11, 2009
- A major fugitive wanted on outstanding
state charges for Child Abduction has been arrested by a team of law
enforcement officers led by U.S. Marshals in Kansas City, Missouri.
Kathleen Mitchell was being sought on warrants issued in Crawford
County, Arkansas charging her with Failure to Appear and a Body
Attachment Order. In August of 2007, Mitchell was granted her first
non-supervised weekend visit with her two children since they were
placed into the custody of the State of Arkansas in June of 2006. At
that time, Mitchell abducted the two children and left the area with the
children and has been on the run since that time.

April 09,
2009 - The U.S. Marshals and Arkansas
Department of Community Corrections, a member of the River Valley Sex
Offender and Violent Crime Task Force, announce the arrest of Donald Dwyer,
age 32. At approximately 12:30 a.m. on April 8, 2009, the River Valley Task
Force developed information indicating Dwyer, wanted for 2 counts of rape on
a minor, was in Fort Smith. B

April 06, 2009 -
The U.S. Marshals and Benton County Sheriff’s Office, a member of the
Northwest Arkansas Sex Offender and Violent Crime Task Force, announce the
arrest of Jeremy Daniel Stewart, age 25. Stewart was arrested on April 2,
2009, in Bentonville, Arkansas just hours after the Benton County Sheriff’s
Office received a credible tip from Texas regarding Stewart’s whereabouts.

January 26,
2009 - The U.S. Marshals and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, a member of
the Northwest Arkansas Sex Offender and Violent Crime Task Force, announce
the arrest of Terry Edward Hayes. Hayes was arrested by Deputy U.S.
Marshals and River Valley Task Force Officers in Van Buren, Arkansas on
Monday, January 26 at approximately 1:30 pm.
Hayes, a local Fayetteville wrecker service business owner, was wanted by
Washington County for aggravated assault on a family member, terrorist
threatening, endangering the welfare of a minor, and possession of a
firearm. Hayes is also a registered sex offender in Washington County,
Arkansas.

January 18, 2009 - The
U.S. Marshals and Benton County Sheriff’s Office, a member of the Northwest
Arkansas Sex Offender and Violent Crime Task Force, announce the arrest of
Patricia Thompson, age 43, and Larry Cook, age 69. Following a three week
long investigation, and with the help of a confidential source developed by
the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, Thompson was arrested on January 17,
2009, in Benton County. Cook, a level 4 sex offender, who was traveling with
Thompson, was also arrested.

January 16, 2009 - On
1/15/09, Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, in Van Buren, AR received
information there was a possible run-away victim from Columbus, Ohio in the
Van Buren area staying with a man by the name of William Coles, a 39 year
old white male.

January 05, 2009
- The U.S. Marshals and Fayetteville Police
Department, a member of the Northwest Arkansas Sex Offender and Violent
Crime Task Force, announce the arrest of Jason Stallcup, age 37. Stallcup
has a violent criminal past dating back to 2000, when he was arrested and
convicted for several charges including kidnapping, burglary, and battery.

November 21, 2008
- The Northwest Arkansas (NWA) Sex Offender and
Violent Crime Task Force, operationally led by the U.S. Marshals Service
Fayetteville Division and fiscally managed by the Benton County Sheriff’s
Office, has arrested more than 550 fugitives since full time operations
began in January 2008. Of those 550 fugitives, more than 30 fail to register
(as a sex offender), 23 sexual assault, 28 rape, 43 state parole violations,
and 61 probation violation arrests are attributed directly to the Task
Force.

October 23, 2008
- The U.S. Marshals Service recently received
information from the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force that two
suspects, one wanted for attempted murder and the other felony theft, were
in Ozone, AR. With this information the River Valley Task Force - along with
the Johnson Co. Sheriff’s Office and the Arkansas State Police - teamed up
to apprehend the suspects. On 10/24/08, officers had the suspects in
custody. Kerry Anderson is wanted on the charge of attempted murder. His
girlfriend, Tiffany Chamblee, is accused of stealing $6,400 from a local
McDonald’s in Tallassee where she was a manager.

October 01, 2008 -
U.S. Marshals and the Northwest Arkansas (NWA) Sex Offender and Violent Crime Task Force announce the
arrest of Frankie Milton, 35, and Cannon Sizemore, 29. Milton was arrested
in Springdale, Arkansas for absconding state supervision. Milton was
convicted of murder in 1996, and sentenced to more than 20 years in state
prison. Sizemore, also a probation absconder, was arrested on October 1,
2008 in Madison County. Sizemore, convicted of manslaughter in 2002 and
sentenced to 9 years, was arrested after a brief scuffle and transported
without further incident.

August 19,
2008 - The Northwest Arkansas Sex
Offender and Violent Crime Task Force announce the arrest of Daniel L. Post,
34, who was wanted on Federal drug charges in the Western District of
Missouri. The diligent efforts of the Arkansas Department of Community
Corrections lead to the arrest of Post, a known drug distributor in the
Northwest Arkansas area. This arrest marks almost 400 fugitive arrests for
the Northwest Arkansas Sex Offender and Violent Crime Task Force, a Task
Force funded by Federal grant monies.

March 27, 2008 -
After 14 years on the run, Bobby Alton Blanchard is now behind bars, and
the Northwest Arkansas Sex Offender and Violent Crime Task Force made it
happen. Blanchard, 51, was arrested on March 25, in Peel, Arkansas. He
was wanted on charges of sexual battery and statutory rape in Lewis
County, Tennessee. Blanchard assumed the name of Mickey Lee Sutton more
than 12 years ago and alluded capture for more than 14 years until U.S.
Marshals brought his run to a halt.
